Absolutely amazing Sunday dinner. They were fully booked. We were just passing on the off chance but they moved tables around and got us in. So pleased they did. Shame we aren't closer as would definitely become a regular visit. Highly recommend

My family and I enjoyed a decent tea here with 40% off. I chose the Chicken, Ham Hock and Leek Pie, which came with a reasonable bit of veg. Standard pub fare, very good value.

Lovely evening spent here last month. The atmosphere is laid back and the staff were friendly. It’s also dog friendly and there’s water and treats available! There’s an extensive menu on offer. We weren’t hungry, so opted for chips and dessert. All were delicious! Looking forward to returning for a meal in the future!

Haven't posted in a while and haven't been to Altisidora in my life despite having passed it a thousand times. Been three times in a week. It's a great pub, in a lovely village, that serves really very, very good food. I have to admit, we went as a group of six and we all had something different and we were all really, really impressed at the standard! Have to really recommend the chicken and ham hock pie, the steak and malbec pie, fish and chips and the schnitzel. My son had the Thai red curry, also stunning (but could do with a larger position next time please). Also quite impressive when everything on the plate is excellent - chunky chips are terrific and even the vegetables side was fresh and crisp and delicious. Great weeknight offers on food. Plenty of parking. Very lovely and helpful staff, thanks! Makes a big difference. Deserves five stars all the way, drinks prices a little heavy but totally worth it. Oh, and I haven't tried them (yet) but the desserts look superb too! Utmost recommended.

A Saturday lunch at Altisidora was a great idea on a cold day. A very nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. The food was pleasant although the fish was very dry and not much was eaten. Drinks good but not asked enough if we wanted more, we would have ordered more but unfortunately they take a long time to arrive. Overall we enjoyed our visit & would return.

On arriving we were not greeted very quickly but we were then shown to our very small table. There was hardly room for anything on the table. My husband went to the bar to order and were asked what we wanted to drink, half beer and Lemonade. The barman said he would bring them over. We waited half an hour. I could see the barman serving people as they walked in and making cocktails etc. but still we waited!. My husband had to go the bar to ask where our drinks were. A few minutes later our drinks arrived. Then an hour after ordering our food and after my husband asked if the food was on its way, our food eventually arrived with no explanation as to why it took so long. We did however get an apology for our long wait. A couple opposite who came in well after us and ordered the steak and wine offer had received theirs and had eaten it by the time we got ours. Admittedly, after we received our order we had a worrying telephone call from our daughter which meant we had to leave early so we had to rush our food. The food we had was very nice but really didn't warrant the long wait! There didn't seem to be enough staff. We only saw one barman and two waitresses on a busy Valentines evening. I would like to go again because it is a lovely place and the food was good but the wait times seemed ridiculous.

We took my mother out for her 81st birthday. The food was amazing. The setting was perfect. The waitress was extremely efficient and very friendly. I have not enjoyed a social meal as much as this for a very long time.

The Sunday roast dinner here was out of this world, I can highly recommend this pub. On a lovely Sunny day like today their beer garden is a really nice place to sit. It’s a dog friendly pub too. The village of Bishop Burton is a very picturesque place with two village ponds. Will definitely be back here again in the future. 10/10 quality food, great service, nice location.
