“Stopped by for a bit yesterday with my partner. The bloke running the place was very nice and welcoming, and made great genuine recommendations. The beers were great and very different. Excellent spot, we will definitely be back when we’re home from university.”

“Wow just wow, from start to finish.. Came here with my mum for a bite to eat, we got more than a bite to eat. I took my food home with me as I had that much on my plate, absolutely amazing. The young lad behind the bar, really friendly, made us feel soo welcome, very polite, smiley, cheerful, the beer garden is lovely and cosy, I highly recommend this place and we will continue coming with our family as our local now.. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!”

“This superb Beverley hotel has exceeded themselves. I refer to the Nania, witch and the wardrobe Christmas theme they have created at the hotel. The new entrance to the heated and covered outside terrace is a delight. Entering through the huge doors to a Christmas tree forest and on to the seating area where more decorated and lit trees is an experience not to be missed. I loved the small plate terrace menu, the perfect food alternative to “Christmas Fayre” Fabulous food in a fantastic setting. Looked after by staff that were professional and attentive and seemed to enjoy making the visit enjoyable to their guests. All involved in this delight from the directors of Thwaites brewery down to the pot washer should be proud. Because you’ve created something that Beverley can be proud of too.”

“On a very very wet and windy night out we had a great time at Sleepers. We received a great welcome and were shown to a pre booked dog friendly table. We'd also pre warned that one of our group had dietary issues and they couldn't have been more helpful in varying the menu to accommodate that. The waiter was amazing throughout, friendly, professional and delivering great service. The food was excellent - a varied menu catering for all tastes. No wonder the place was absolutely full resulting in a great atmosphere. An excellent night out.”

“Every thing was perfect went to Highfield Saturday late afternoon for something to eat everything was lovely the lady behind the bar even brought a chew out for the dog that was with us.nothing was too much trouble .would definitely recommend .thankyou.x”

“We were first in the door at midday so atmosphere wasn't pumping. We'd just walked the dog up West Wood fields and enjoyed a lovely pint of Guinness and some chunky chips. Dog was welcome too. Staff were friendly and accomidating. We will be back again for a Sunday roast”

“Popped in last week for lunch. Staff were very polite and friendly. My daughter inlaw and myself had the steak pie which was absolutely delicious ! My son had the burger and really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend . Can't wait for our next visit”

“Partner had the burger and I had the lobster ravioli asked them for less chilli as the first time I had it, the chilli was overpowering the dish. They had to remake but sorted it quickly and efficiently. Cat our server was great, very attentive. Will be visiting again soon.”

“Decided to treat ourselves to the wagyu sharing platter and it was INCREDIBLE! Never had a meal like it and I’ve eaten at steak restaurants in many countries. Staff are warm and welcoming. Love the atmosphere and decor inside. Also great that it was nice and cool inside on a hot sunny day.”

“We came to firepit for lunch and a catch up with friends. Great venue and atmosphere for watching sport. The service was great, Hollie was our server and she was personable taking an interest in our day. We got a variety of different food, which was all delicious. I would recommend the pork dog and tacos. All round great experience.”

“Sensational experience I have frequented Sheriff bar 2 nights in the last week and on not one occasion did it disappoint. I was very excited to try this establishment as it is the first time from what I know that Beverley has been graced with an American mid western saloon bar, whoever’s idea this was deserves a medal. Upon entering the bar , you pass through authentic saloon bar swinging doors and enter the bar. We were served quickly by friendly staff and started sipping berverages. The music was a mash up of old skool 90’s and early 00’s. We danced the night away in a lovely corner of the bar away from any unruly revolvers. Unfortunately an altercation broke out with what seemed like some young cowboy apprentice wanting to smack someone inside, which then led to BTPD coming down to quell the unrest. An incredibly professional response from both the bouncers and BTBD ensured our safety, well done guys. We purchased bandanas and sheriff hats to get with the theme of the venue and truly appreciate its ambience. The mid western design with its ‘reward’ posters and cowboy silhouettes is quite something and we didn’t want to miss out. I’d highly recommend Sheriff to anyone in the area.”

“Our guests are calling it, “The best kids party they have ever attended” We have just returned home from our daughter’s 10th birthday party and it was great, all the kids and adults had a great time. There’s so much choice and something to keep everyone entertained, I think the pricing for exclusive booking is more than reasonable and being able to take your own buffet is a nice touch. I’m sure this will be an ongoing party spot for us and our guests for years to come.”

“There were 6 of us who dined in the restaurant on a busy Saturday evening in December. We had a very sociable round table and the staff were, friendly, efficient and relaxed. The food was hot and very tasty. A perfect fun dining experience.”

“My family and I have been going to Figaro since it opened and even when it was La Scala back in the day. You really cannot fault the staff or food they are fantastic. There are some foods I have never tasted better anywhere else, their steaks, prawns, tomato garlic breads and since last night, their tiramisu. Their pornstar martinis and liquor coffees are also top tier!! Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed! Booking in again in a few days time for my Birthday, because they’re just too good! :)”

From London Thunder to boozed-up chunder, this is a pub whose walls tell every story. The staff were extraordinarily convivial, pursuing a quest to obtain... for me.... a myriad of historical beer mats. What a lovely touch. With a cup cheer, without nerves or fear, all manner of drinkers, and creative thinkers, can find sanctuary, comfort... and home right here”
