Our favourite Hotel full stop! We treat ourself to a Feature Room, which is a good twice the size of a normal room plus comfy sofa and chairs. A great view of St Mary's Church from the windows. (Note, I don't believe that these rooms in the older part of the Hotel have disabled access ?) Car parking is good, and as the hotel is in the heart of the town you don't need to get the car out again until you leave. You can check in on line to speed things up and check-in time is from 3pm.You must pre-book your evening meal as the place is heaving with people, especially at Christmas. The restaurant is impressively good. You can see what's going on in the kitchen. There is always enough attentive staff on hand if you need anything. Excellent food and service.

We love stopping at the Beverley Arms. Always a warm welcome, especially the two girls on reception. They are amazing!! Room was totally fabulous in every way. Great nights sleep, and very comfortable. Breakfast was 1st class. What else can you say but thank you so very much xx

This superb Beverley hotel has exceeded themselves. I refer to the Nania, witch and the wardrobe Christmas theme they have created at the hotel. The new entrance to the heated and covered outside terrace is a delight. Entering through the huge doors to a Christmas tree forest and on to the seating area where more decorated and lit trees is an experience not to be missed. I loved the small plate terrace menu, the perfect food alternative to β€œChristmas Fayre” Fabulous food in a fantastic setting. Looked after by staff that were professional and attentive and seemed to enjoy making the visit enjoyable to their guests. All involved in this delight from the directors of Thwaites brewery down to the pot washer should be proud. Because you’ve created something that Beverley can be proud of too.

This is a truly beautiful hotel in the centre of historic Beverley. Was upgraded to what can only be described as a suite, which was a fabulous surprise. The room was stunning and the view of St Mary’s was beautiful. Dinner in the restaurant was equally fabulous. The food was delicious and hot and our server was polite and very pleasant. The breakfast was lovely too. All cooked to order and served on hot plates. So many hotels let themselves down by serving food on Luke warm/ cold plates so I was very pleased with the attention to detail. My only gripe is the price of a bottle of wine. Β£39 is extortionate. I live in the south of the country and the same bottle of Sauvignon blanc is between Β£26 - Β£29 so it was extremely overpriced. Notwithstanding, if I ever visit Beverley again, i will definitely stay here.

This a really excellent and historic hotel! The attention to detail and attentiveness from staff was brilliant and much appreciated. When we arrived we were early for check in but the staff offered to take our suitcases and give us a call when the room was ready which was very kind after a long day of travelling. When we came back to the hotel we checked in and were surprised with how nice, clean and light our room was! The bed is actually the most comfortable and soft bed I've slept in in a hotel. The room was nice and dark at night and not too hot which I appreciated. The room came with a standing fan. We also got breakfast included and it was AMAZING! I had berry compote scotch pancakes which were delicious. My partner had a full English which he enjoyed a lot! The coffee at breakfast was very tasty too. The service, particularly at breakfast was friendly and welcoming. Really a lovely stay all round

Had a lovely stay at this hotel, it was excellent. The receptionist Julie was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was lovely, clean, good food and great staff. Lots of extra special touches too that so many other hotels don’t offer. We will definitely be back.

The service was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable. The food however was pretty standard my wife and friends ordered the burger this was very plane with a few soggy fries, my steak was good but only a small amount of chips and a handful of rocket just a bit plane really. For a Β£30 steak would expect a few onion rings, grilled tomatoes and a side salad maybe. The full breakfast was great but my wife had poached eggs they was under cooked very snotty and watery she couldn’t eat them, I’d never seen poached eggs like it. I don’t normally review and don’t want to seam picky but loved my stay and would come again so this is constructive criticism.

We went for our Sunday Lunch which was a birthday gift for Sue. It was great from start to finish. The room was lovely and comfortable, the staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. The food was delicious. The thing I was most impressed with, was that there was no rushing between course's so you could let things settle a bit.

We really enjoyed our first ever stay at the Beverley Arms Hotel. We booked a room overlooking the beautiful St Marys Church for 2 nights and loved it. From the sensitive renovation and redecoration of the beautiful old buildings to the modern comforts of our lovely room, we were impressed. The common areas are charming (checkout the old military uniforms in the gents!) and the service was attentive and friendly. Given that most of the team we met, appeared to actually enjoy serving people, some credit has to go the management for setting the direction, selecting good people and then providing good training. After that, all the credit goes to their lovely, diverse and talented team of staff, for delivering a really good level of customer service. A treat of a weekend.

Lovely large spacious bedroom, the bathroom was well laid out with 2 sinks, separate toilet, bath and shower. Comfy beds and good quality sheets. I am surprised it is not a 4 star hotel. The food was delicious. It is well located for walking into Beverley, room available in the car park and attractive dining areas. Loved staying here and I will definitely return.
