Under new management. Nice crew. A small traditional pub. I attend a traditional music session here every Tuesday evening to play a few tunes. Black sheep bitter was really good. The welcome is fabulous. You will be welcomed and feel comfortable here taking some time out with a pint.
No ice or lemon run out yesterday this a joke. Was better when previous landlord had shame. Happy to take your 11quid 2 pounds dearer than Dragon same drink.
Just been over for the weekend and this pub was excellent. The hand pulled beer was good and the host Steve is a top guy he made us feel welcome. The locals made us feel we were among friends, totally enjoyed our time in this pub.
What a beautiful old fashioned pub, I’ll be honest when I turned left into the bar area I almost immediately regretted that decision as I saw doom bar was one of the choices of ales…. As there is a small minority who prefer a pint of sick in a glass I opted for wainwright, now I’ve never really enjoyed this pint but it was the best out of the 3 on offer (tetleys the other) honestly the wainwright was perfection in a glass, talked to the locals about it who said it’s the best pint in Beverley, well I’ve done a few pubs here now and I can honestly say he was right. A proper pub Landlord and land lady behind the bar Wainwright 10/10 Thank you very much I’ll be back
A proper traditional small two room pub in the centre of Beverley. Formerly only selling Darley's beer, now offers arrange of quality cask conditioned real ale. A nice cosy pub sympathetically refurbished.
