“Was excited to come here after enjoying a couple of meals at Empire Cafe. I might have actually enjoyed the meal here more! Some particular highlights were the homemade black pudding, cold cut smoked beef, sausage roll and BBQ carrots. Service was very fast, and staff were relaxed and friendly. Only warning would be that some of the larger plates were very large (think schnitzel bigger than your face), so bring someone hungry to share with!”

“My meal here was absolutely fantastic! The mushroom was rich and silky, the cheese was so delicious—each bite felt like a treat. The steak, cooked to a juicy medium as requested, was tender and seasoned flawlessly. A huge shout-out to the server Brad! He was attentive without being intrusive, recommended the perfect dishes, and checked in just enough to ensure everything was perfect. “Had a fabulous meal at Mykonos. It's a long time since since we have had Greek food, either in Greece or the UK, and we were excited to try it. The moussaka and lamb kleftiko did not disappoint! Delicious desserts, great atmosphere and very efficient and welcoming staff. We're sorry we're only staying for one night in Harrogate as we would definitely make this a regular choice of restaurant.”

“I stopped at Two Sisters for lunch. There’s lots of seating available and the place has a lovely vibe. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the halloumi toastie. It arrived quickly and was just as described. Delicious! I’d definitely come back if I visit Skipton again.”

“First visit to this large restaurant on Whitehall Road; at the foot of that tower that’s had so many problems with the cladding. Now scaffolding free, it made me notice this place afresh. Inside the restaurant is bright and airy, white walls and marble floors. There’s a nice vibe in here of an evening. Chill yet traditional. You sense the meal will be good. Nice big menu with lots of choice. Pizza, pasta and steak. Also fish. Opted for the venison wellington; I love venison and it sounded like a dish that would be rich and hearty. Not wrong, a beautiful (and big) portion of perfectly pink venison in a light and flaky crust. Wow, could eat that all day. So very rich with a hearty sauce, turnip to the side. I wish more places would use game. The chef here clearly knows his meat. Excellent. The steak must be fantastic. Reasonably priced as well. The beer was Moretti; as it should be when it isn’t Peroni. Definitely recommend giving this place a try next time you’re in town. They do specials too, so a chance at finding something unexpected and intriguing on the menu. Always welcome. Two paws up. Well done.”

“Nice bar with amazing atmosphere, there's been some great events with some legendary Djs and Mcs. Doesn't feel like you're in Nelson, it's actually better then any bar in Burnley. They always have good offers on. Overall nice friendly place with decent staff.”

“My wife and I visited here for lunch today. Brie and cranberry bagel (left out the bacon as I’m a vegetarian!) was very nice. “Excellent rock bar, one of a dying breed of pubs nowadays. Excellent live acts from local and further afield, rock/ metal bands. Well worth a visit if you are into this type of music. It's also one of the few remaining live music pubs in Wakefield.”

“Took the kids for their first camping experience and fair to say we will be going again. My 5 year old loved seeing the bikes and everyone is so polite and friendly. We had food and absolutely loved every bite, the portion sizes are well worth the money. Toilets and showers cleaned regular. Easy access to water if needed. Beautiful place and fantastic people. Thank you for making our first family camping experience one to start many.”

“Such a beautiful and attractive place to relax and spend time. There are nice walking areas, interesting architecture, and even the option for a boat trip with the taxi boats. It was really quiet at this time of the year,not crowded at all,I bet during summer there are a lot of people. I bet during summer there's a good variety of restaurants and bars, so everyone can find something to suit their taste and budget,but now the options were quite limited. The dock offers options for spending time outdoors, and exploring the Royal Armouries museum, which is huge and definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately we couldn't visit because it was closed (Monday only). I saw that there are limited options for shopping,comparing with the city centre. Overall,we really liked it and definitely will come back during summer.”

“We had some free tickets to use so went twice in one day! Not much choice for an 11yr old to see so we saw 2 old movies (Hocus pocus and back to the future) I doubt we would have gone if we didn't have free tickets. Seats are comfortable and it wasn't busy.”

“Absolutely loved this, this was my first experience with Spanish tapas and was quite confused with the menu not knowing what anything was but after randomly selecting a range of mini tapas and ordering both the meat and the seafood paella to share with everyone no one was disappointed. Amazing view of Leeds dock by our table and we loved the ability to stand out on the balcony whenever we needed some fresh air. Highly recommend for a family dinner or perfect for a date”
