Ostrich like fillet steak but lighter. try it.. its not chicken. Monkey gland sauce... sweet and chutney like. Miele with the chackalaka sauce, different and good. Try something different for a change. Its nice and bloody filling, roll me home and pop me. Great staff. Good food. What more can you ask for...”

“Lovely experience! We came on a Wednesday evening, quite hungry, and were welcomed so warmly. I had checked the menu in advance and ordered the mezze straight away — it arrived in about ten minutes and was absolutely delicious. The mixed grill was just as amazing. Would definitely come again!”

“I decided to check out this Halal British-Asian-Indian grill, and I couldn't have been more surprised. Their chicken kebab sandwich was juicy, tender and smoky, with a zesty tang. It was completely mouthwatering! Their fries had the perfect crisp & crunch with a salty-spicy kick. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch or for a late night snack.”

“First visit to this large restaurant on Whitehall Road; at the foot of that tower that’s had so many problems with the cladding. Now scaffolding free, it made me notice this place afresh. Inside the restaurant is bright and airy, white walls and marble floors. There’s a nice vibe in here of an evening. Chill yet traditional. You sense the meal will be good. Nice big menu with lots of choice. Pizza, pasta and steak. Also fish. Opted for the venison wellington; I love venison and it sounded like a dish that would be rich and hearty. Not wrong, a beautiful (and big) portion of perfectly pink venison in a light and flaky crust. Wow, could eat that all day. So very rich with a hearty sauce, turnip to the side. I wish more places would use game. The chef here clearly knows his meat. Excellent. The steak must be fantastic. Reasonably priced as well. The beer was Moretti; as it should be when it isn’t Peroni. Definitely recommend giving this place a try next time you’re in town. They do specials too, so a chance at finding something unexpected and intriguing on the menu. Always welcome. Two paws up. “Had a fabulous meal at Mykonos. It's a long time since since we have had Greek food, either in Greece or the UK, and we were excited to try it. The moussaka and lamb kleftiko did not disappoint! Delicious desserts, great atmosphere and very efficient and welcoming staff. We're sorry we're only staying for one night in Harrogate as we would definitely make this a regular choice of restaurant.”

The steak, cooked to a juicy medium as requested, was tender and seasoned flawlessly. A huge shout-out to the server Brad! He was attentive without being intrusive, recommended the perfect dishes, and checked in just enough to ensure everything was perfect. “This place is brilliant. From the moment we walked in we were treated as if we were the only ones that mattered. The staff are fantastic, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was cooked to perfection and the only criticism is that a small portion of vegetables would have been nice with the lamb. Highly recommend. Cost was approximately £50 per person with wine and drinks. Will definitely return.”

“I stopped at Two Sisters for lunch. There’s lots of seating available and the place has a lovely vibe. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the halloumi toastie. It arrived quickly and was just as described. Delicious! I’d definitely come back if I visit Skipton again.”

“Excellent quality food and fantastic service. All the meats were excellent and the staff kept bringing more. There’s a pleasant self-service salad/buffet bar too. It was basically empty on our afternoon visit so we got excellent personal service and everything cooked specifically for us. The minted lamb was my personal favourite. We will be back.”

“We met as a work team this afternoon at the Printworks and chose the afternoon tea option for £17.50 a head. We certainly were not disappointed. The selection of food was fantastic and quality as always perfect and such good value for money. Definitely the best afternoon tea in Leeds! Everyone ate until we were full and still got to take a goody box home with us. Luke and his staff are so attentive and make us feel so welcome.”

“Everything is fine and the shop owners are a lovely couple. They'll even persuade you to order less when you've ordered too much, rather than having you order a bunch of food that you can't eat and pack it home. However, the location and decoration are general and not convenient for parking.”

“An AMAZING place. The atmosphere is so chilled and so cool. The bar is small and humble but hey don’t mess about with the Ales; lots of local brews to pass many hours! The cocktail list is extensive, varied with classics and new recipes and are fairly cheap but excellent all across the board. The pizzas are incredible. For the value they are the best pizza in town; all veggie options, you choose 3 toppings then anything else is extra. Fully recommend Hummus on the pizza. Bar Maroc is a place to go on all occasions and energy levels; want an ale? want a night out? Want to simply sit with a brew and read? All is possible at all times and all are welcome. The bar below ‘Small Seeds’ (see photo of ‘The Good Earth Collective’ playing, attached) is brilliantly and wonderfully decorated. Drinks and pizzas available down here from the same owners as upstairs. Great live music venue and great music there after.”

“I booked a table here for my birthday Breakfast. It was recommended by a close friend. I'm not a big eater so opted for the veggie full breakfast. I thought It was slightly more food than I could manage. But by far one of the tastiest veddie breakfasts I've ever had. I'd go again as a treat.”
