“A brilliant steak place that is completely under rated. Never heard of it before so when I went and tried it, I wasn’t expecting too much. It was so good! The chateaubriand had a delicious beefy flavour. The vibes inside are still casual so you don’t feel like you need to get all dressed up like nearly every other steak spot. The bon bons were a firm fave for the starter. I didn’t think the mac & cheese, or the garlic mushrooms were worth £6 each so I would steer clear of these as sides! The sticky toffee pudding sundae was out of this world… two delicious desserts combined!”

“We had the 2 course and 3 course set and they were fantastic!! Although steak in seafood restaurant usually disappointing, it's not the case with Shucks! The steak was very nice and tender. My partner enjoyed the mussels saganaki and the prawn and lobster roll. For us, the star of the meal was the roll. We also had an amazing time with the recommendation and a warm service from Jean/Jane (apologies for forgetting your name!). Will definitely come and visit again.”

“This was our second time having bucks bar and we love it. We had gotten takeaway as we weren’t staying to far and the food was still hot and great. The portions are huge and we couldn’t even finish the fries. Absolutely worth the money. I had gotten a Nutella milkshake (delish) and my partner had gotten the bourbon cream shake, very boozy but exactly what he wanted. We absolutely love the food here, so good!”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Meat Bar, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The restaurant's ambiance is warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy decor that sets the perfect tone for a relaxing meal. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure every detail was perfect. I ordered the steak sandwich and Caesar salad, and both were simply delightful. The steak sandwich was a true highlight – the beef was cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite. The sandwich was generously portioned, making it a fulfilling and enjoyable meal. The Caesar salad was equally impressive. Crisp, fresh romaine lettuce was topped with a rich and creamy dressing that had just the right balance of tanginess and creaminess. The homemade croutons added a delicious crunch, making each bite enjoyable. Overall, Meat Bar exceeded my expectations with its exceptional food quality and impeccable service. I highly recommend trying their steak sandwich and Caesar salad – both are excellent choices that showcase the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence. “This was a first time visit and I absolutely adored it. We made an upfront reservation for 5 people and all 5 of us had a 3 course meal (starter, maind and desserrt). As you can see from the pictures everyone had a different meal. We all definitely enjoyed it. The Service was absolutely amazing and very helpful, if there were any questions from the fest. They were very organised as well and everyone was served their meal without waiting to much. I absolutely and highly cyan recommend that place :) and I hope that standard that they have, they'll keep it up that way. I can't wait to come back here, when I'm over for the next holiday again.”

Our food was delicious, and the portions were generous and they have a nice selection of wines and spirits. I would highly recommend you give this venue a try. “Great burger, but on the pricey end 8/10 A customisable burger experience, though the menu could be clearer on what counts as extras. The smashed patties and caramelised onions were standout, but the burger was slightly dry. Loved the sweet buns and crispy Cajun and garlic fries. Note: The small space fills with kitchen odours and parking is tough. Total was £40, a bit pricey due to unexpected topping charges. Worth a visit if nearby and craving a solid burger. Not great for parking if you’re not in the area.”

“We came to The McMillan for the first time last weekend and really enjoyed it! Steak was delicious and service was really good. The restaurant had a really lively atmosphere for 5 pm on a Saturday and although it was really busy, the service and food were still very much on point. Looking forward to coming back again soon!”
