“First time here, and its tucked away on one of the backstreets which is quite nice actually. A group of 8 of us walked in and we were able to be seated pretty quickly. I was impressed with the food, the service was initially slow but sped up shortly after. Overall a nice meal and would go back! This restaurant allows you to charge your phone whilst at the table with a portable power bank from in house. That's quite unique and its the first restaurant i have been too which does this. Well done to Smugglers for introducing that.”

“I looked up some fish and chip places near my hotel and Harefield came up close to the top of the Google map list. I went for a piece of chips and a portion of chicken donner. The fish was excellent, one of the best I had in a long, long time, chicken was average. Still, I would happily go back for a puce of fish if I was in the area again. 5 stars.”

“Excellent dinner and first class service. Highly recommend this restaurant. We especially enjoyed the jackfruit filo pastry parcel. The beer battered cod had a super crispy batter with homemade chips and crushed peas would definitely return to have this again. The presentation was very good. Recommend booking.”

“I work come here to start work and I was very nervous but when coming here I felt welcomed and the staff here were very nice and welcoming and kind and friendly and when serving customers I could see that the staff made good connections and community with the customers here at royal fish bar. The staff here are very kind and helpful to the people who come in a order and have very well spoken simple manners like: have a good day, see you late thank you, how are you, and simple things like these and they seem to grow a connection with each and every loyal customer and have conversations abt there lifes which is nice because a lot of other places don’t do this it’s a great community. I also personally beileve the prices of there food were really good as most fish and chips shops I have been in have been much more expensive for there fish and there other foods but when I saw the prices on this one I was quite surprised. Now on to the food I quite love there food here I’m not even going to lie it’s really good and when bringing it home to my parents who don’t love fish and chips they very much liked this one and my grandparents also loved there food when I bought home some food for them to. So everyone should come in and eat food from our amazing royal fish bar :).”

“First visit on our way to Southampton shopping. Very welcoming as soon as we arrived, relaxed atmosphere, very attentive and the food was amazing! We had a couple of the sides which were delicious and the sharing platter, the chicken was cooked to perfection and the lamb chops were the best we've ever tasted!! We will definitely be returning....”

“So clean! We popped in about 15 mins before they were due to close but could still order anything off of the menu. I tried their pizza and I'm not overly keen on some pizzas but I loved this one. Plenty of toppings and nicely cooked. Not doughy and I even ate the crusts! Other half liked his and couldnt eat all his chips!”

“A warm welcome on a cold and wet day. Started with a lovely bottle of delicious Zinfandel wine. The food that followed was divine! The best Chowder I’ve ever had, (better than Boston USA). Sandwiches are lovely too, with pre seasoned fries, scrumptious. My partner’s pulled Beef bourguignon starter and pizza were lovely. Portion sizes are generous. the prices very reasonable. Great selection of food on the menu. Bonus, loving the playlist background music. Lots of free parking, as per signage, you simply need to give your car registration. Lots of outside seating too, (for warmer days). Toilets very clean. We’ll be back for sure. Highly recommend!”

“Seashells is a real favourite. We booked view of the pier and shore for 6 adults. The specials were impressive. Great staff, well trained and attentive. The steak pie was excellent and my friend loved his fish pie. All served with chips if you want. Their coffee is great. The Baguettes are yummy.”

“So this is my favourite spot in Hampshire for a spicy chicken fillet burger. The fillet itself is huge compared to the bun so you always feel like you’ve got enough chicken to bread ratio. But my partner loves grilled chicken and she used only ever go Nando’s. But now Texas grill is her new favourite and she will only ever have grilled chicken from here”

“Went there for brunch 11am booked a table in advance, the place is spacious and wasn't to busy, the stuff that serves was excellent and the food wasn't late to come after we ordered the portions are true american style and would go back there again. The kids menu was 2pounds and was llenty of food for a 10 and 7 year old”

“Moved here from America so I have been on the hunt for a good seafood boil. Took my mom here for her birthday. The food was great and you really can’t get seafood boil anywhere outside of London in England so I was happy to find it. Service was great. We were helped by two guys one named harry and the other named Scott I believe but I’m not too sure they were very attentive and friendly and it was an overall really good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend”
