“Simply one of the best restaurants in Winchester. A hidden gem. Amazing food. Great staff and great venue. Plenty of seating. Food cooked in open kitchen. Steaks to rival any London steakhouse. Prices are reasonable but what you would exepct in Winchester. Parking at nearby Chesil Street carpark a short 5 minute walk away. Can't recommend this place anymore.. a must try.”

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and genuine hospitality the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more attentive. The food was incredible everything tasted freshly prepared and bursting with authentic flavor. The grilled meats were tender and perfectly seasoned, the bread soft and warm, and every side dish felt homemade. Portion sizes were generous without sacrificing quality you definitely leave full and happy. The atmosphere is inviting and vibrant, with a lovely mix of cozy and lively. Whether you’re going for a casual dinner or a special evening out, it’s the kind of place that instantly feels welcoming. I can’t recommend Mevalana enough — 5 stars across the board for food, service, and ambiance. We’ll definitely be coming back!”

“We came last night for quiz night and dinner, at first we were rejected as we hadn't booked, but we insisted when we saw an empty table. Prices are so cheap for food. Good quality price, so much choice, it was hard to choose. We started with nachos and then a burger and kebab. Just great while quizzing. 80 questions but time flew. £1 to play and the winners win the amount collected. So the more the merrier. Will definetly come back!”

The premium meat (both chicken and beef) paired with vibrant sauces makes for a satisfying meal. I was impressed by the kind attitude and professional behaviour of the staff especially Hamza Khan’s helping hand in making the order. Each time I visited the shop, I was received with a smile and a warm welcome. For me the OG Kebab, flavoured chips, garlic, and yogurt sauces and cane of coke makes it a perfect meal of the day. I would recommend it to everyone who would like an original taste of GDK in the heart of Southampton.”

“My experience at Prezzo was definitely a positive one. It's a really nice atmosphere with friendly staff. The food was bang on, professionally presented and more importantly it tasted delicious. I took my family there for fathers day, my wife and two boys. It cost me £130 which included drinks etc. It was worth it though. Had a great time. I will definitely go again.”

I had to check as I thought I had been undercharged but no. 2 meals were really less than £35.00 including service charge. Why is this place not rammed?”

“Fantastic! Went with family for a birthday meal for my wife, Lip smacking Starter platter having crispy chicken wings and strips, Cheesy Nachos, Toasty Garlic bread and Crunchy onion rings. Daughter had the kids menu deal, Tomato pasta with side veggie, a fruity drink, and a brownie and ice-cream dessert for just £4.99, Good quantity, couldn't finish it all.. and the colouring kit and make your own Bottle bunny that came with the meal was an added bonus! She loved it! Birthday girl wifey had the Sirloin steak.... I sneaked a bite and it was cooked just as we liked it .. so soft and buttery... Chips cooked absolutely right, crunchy outside, creamy inside. My steak sandwich... Mind blowing!.. couldn't finish it and had to take most of it home. Yummy Honeycomb and Brownie ice-cream, Helps supports the Macmillan nurses, A good deed with a great treat! Service is top notch... Fantastic experience, would love to visit again!”

The staff member, Driton was extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel at ease as soon as we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, one of the best steaks we have had in a restaurant in a long time! Not only that but each course came out quickly, was a good portion size and hot! We would definitely recommend Harpers and will certainly be returning.”
