Beautiful pub hidden away. Been a few times and the food has always been incredible. Never been on a Sunday so went last week and it did not disappoint! Outstanding food as always!
On a recent visit to the UK, it was great to visit The Fox & Hounds where I used to go with my parents 50 years ago. The menu and drinks selection were wonderful with lots of vegetarian choices, which was perfect for me. Fabulous service and food.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch here today with the family we did book a table as it does get busy with local people tbh lots of yummyness going on here friendly staff nothing to much trouble parking and toilets seating outside too to have a enjoy these summer evenings over a drink or two definitely worth a visit.
Lovely hidden gem. We stopped here after strawberry picking for a belated father's day and had a great afternoon meal. The staff (Gabbie and Meg) were friendly and welcoming and provided great suggestions when stuck trying to choose from a very good mixed menu. The food came quick but was lovely. The real ale was spot on and kept well and the character of the building just added to the charm of the place we will definitely be back.
Lovely food and service, the Polish lady who greeted us was so lovely and welcoming, food amazing and very attentive service. A tad pricey but you really do get what you pay for re service. Highly recommended.
Very lovely lovely place, I ate a whole huge plate of my main course. Was very delicious and mouth watering. Was mixed.... staff a awesome.
Korean BBQ chicken stripes were good but the pate had very hard butter on top. Disappointed with main course has mix up with order. What I thought was small portion of mash potato compared to the chips on the steak & ale pie although some of the pastry was alittle hard has well.
This is one of our favourite restaurants. The service is always friendly and timely. Food is well presented and tastes good.
Another brilliant old pub with lots of history. There's also the link attached "Lone Barn" with it's own interesting history. Plenty of seating indoors and outside. Good selection of beers and food. Friendly staff. Brings back memories when I used to visit there over 40 years ago.
A great lunch, exceptional service and really tasty food from the new spring menu. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. Plenty of parking.
