“Always busy, great atmosphere. 2 for £13 cocktails all day every day. Staff are polite, crazy busy and really friendly. Always have a good time when we visit.”

“First time here, and its tucked away on one of the backstreets which is quite nice actually. A group of 8 of us walked in and we were able to be seated pretty quickly. I was impressed with the food, the service was initially slow but sped up shortly after. Overall a nice meal and would go back! This restaurant allows you to charge your phone whilst at the table with a portable power bank from in house. That's quite unique and its the first restaurant i have been too which does this. Well done to Smugglers for introducing that.”

“We had an absolutely fantastic meal at Botley Mill! The food was a solid 10/10 – beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout, but what really made the evening extra special was the personal touch. When we arrived, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of prosecco and a card signed by the team congratulating us on our one year wedding anniversary. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant so much to us. Thank you for making our night so memorable, we’ll definitely be returning! (I only took a picture of our starter as i was too excited to dig in and forgot a photo of our main and desert!) Glass of prosecco again had been half drunk before i took a photo”

“Fantastic place serving authentic Mexican food! The owner is full of energy and gave us such a warm welcome. You could really tell he was passionate about the dishes and excited to share his knowledge. He gave us lots of recommendations, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. “Nice persian restaurant in the city centre. The owner and the staff greeted us very warmly and the persian Kebabs and food were delicious. They also offered us persian tea on the house.”

“Servers (mine was leah) manage to combine being both incredibly friendly and efficient. Portion size is fantastic while tasting fresh so best of both worlds. Fast and fresh food with good sauce options and the vegan option tastes fantastic to the point I order either beef or vegan.”

“The host greeted us by assisting with the door as we approached. Very friendly, showed us to our table and let us pick where we'd be most comfortable. Assisted with removing the chair so I could sit in my wheelchair. Got us started with water and nachos, then sent our server over to take our order. Service was great, very efficient. Server ensured we had exactly the food we wanted. Cleared empty plates in a timely manner. Overall great service”

“So this is my favourite spot in Hampshire for a spicy chicken fillet burger. The fillet itself is huge compared to the bun so you always feel like you’ve got enough chicken to bread ratio. But my partner loves grilled chicken and she used only ever go Nando’s. But now Texas grill is her new favourite and she will only ever have grilled chicken from here”

“The food we ordered from here was really tasty. Great flavours, good portions and fresh ingredients. We would definitely order from here again. It was only unfortunate that uber eats didn't seem to be able to find a driver to deliver so it must have been sitting on the side for a while and was a bit cold when we received it, although I know that is not the fault of the restaurant.”

“Unbelievable Mexican cuisine, Francisco the owner makes all of the food fresh, which you can watch him cook, the portion sizes are generous and completely authentic! His selection of home made chilli sauces are incredibly tasty too! The home made fruit juices are so refreshing too. Best Mexican in Bournemouth, easy.”

“A excellent cafe/bistro situated approx 10 mins walk from Winchester Station. It's a Hip & Happining place to enjoy your food. I had scrambled eggs on toast and it was lovely with a cup of pot of tea. The staff are all very friendly and very polite. Be aware it does get busy so get there early if you can. Most of the seating is inside.”

“I rarely leave reviews, but the food and service at Mexifun were an easy 11/10 — I just had to share! We ordered two quesadillas (one chicken, one pulled pork) and a pulled pork taco, and each dish completely exceeded expectations — especially the pulled pork, which was tender, flavorful, and felt like a true taste of Mexico. Portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and every bite was packed with flavor. On top of that, the shop owner was incredibly friendly and attentive. A wonderful mix of great food, warm hospitality, and genuine care. Highly recommended to anyone in the area!”

“We had a superb visit to Taco Taco. The owners/ chefs are friendly and clearly passionate about their dishes. The food was amazing and the best presentation of Mexican food I've ever seen (and I've tried a lot). The sweet potato Taco was my favourite and the pineapple margarita went down very well. “What a great addition to the Southampton dining scene. A beautifully designed restaurant specialists in cheese/meat boards and fine wine. What I love is the superb staff, friendly service and of course great food. This place can be a place to bring a date, a casual catch up or just a meeting. Whatever brings you here its guaranteed you will stay a while enjoy the wine and chilled beats. The decor is amazing too - the ceiling looks like grass and there is a lovely hand made sign over the bar! There is such a selection of food that you will find something delicious. And even a full vegan alternative so no excuses from anyone not to visit. As for access, the Porter is fully inclusive, handicapped access and I was able to bring my support dog and she was also made to feel like a valued guest. Special thanks to Milo, for always going above and beyond with the service. Highly recommended.”

“Wow! Awesome breakfast at this place. Coffee is great, portions are fantastic (check the amount of egg on that toast!), service is fast and Mr Escobar is super friendly. All reasonably priced too. Can't recommend it enough.. I'll definitely be back to try more like the tapas, it looks great!”

“Had an amazing time at Turtle Bay for bottomless brunch for my friend’s hen do! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing and the drinks started flowing quickly. A special shoutout to Eloise, who made the whole experience even better. She was incredibly efficient, always making sure our glasses were topped up without us needing to ask. She was also friendly and genuinely warm, checking in with us regularly and making sure everything was spot-on. The food was delicious and the cocktails were fresh and strong — you definitely get good value for money. Would absolutely come back again. Thanks again to Eloise and the Turtle Bay team for a brilliant brunch!”

“Decided to have dinner here after a show at the Mayflower. Had some starters, pasta and shared a dessert. The food was amazing, heavenly soft ciabatta with pesto, sauce in seafood pasta was delicious and one of the best tiramisu we've had in the UK. Will definitely be back to try specials! The atmosphere was also nice, with soft quiet music and gentle light. Service was good, we felt cared for but not overly, which I always appreciate. It's a great place for a nice dinner with a date or a mate, highly recommend to try.”

“This is a diamond hiding in plain sight! A perfect cozy and comfortable restaurant. Food is just right with lots of flavour and variety. Staff are welcoming and friendly with right right amount of interaction and interest. I've eaten here a few times now and have not been disappointed. Outdoor, covered eating space or roomy warm interior. Many drink options to choose from ales, cocktails, spirits and wine. For a privately owned and run local restaurant this is somewhere I would always recommend and when possible (as not local) eat at.”

“What a fantastic place with a fabulous restaurant and staff that are the friendliest, welcoming people we've ever met in a hotel. The food is some of the best food we've eaten albeit quite expensive compared to other restaurants but absolutely worth every penny however the only slight criticism is the drinks are very expensive, ie £6.50 for a bottle of water and I think it worked out at £13.75 for a double barcardi and a bottle of diet coke as there was no draft coke. We live in a main city so are used to paying inflated prices but the drinks are more expensive than Manchester city prices, but we'd definitely stay here again because everything else was perfect, and it's literally across the road from where we pick the cruise up from.”

“Honestly this was such a pleasant suprise and so refreshing in the quality of food and drinks available. I was not just surprised at the variety of options in both food and drink, but the quality and flavours of everything. There was not one dish of drink that I didn't not enjoy. Commendations to the owners and the those that creators of the masterpieces. I am proud to say that I stopped taking pictures in between as I chose to savour the flavours. Highly highly recommend.”

“Very tasty tacos in centre of Winchester. Really nice vibe. Dog friendly. Key thing is all home made. The tacos were so soft and fluffy and the fillings had real flavour and depth. Nice bar space inside with wide choice of beers. Would definitely go back.”
