“What a Fantastic family run restaurant. The food is exceptional… fresh, flavoursome, plentiful and good value. The ambiance and music are delightful. But what sets it apart from other restaurants is the fabulous staff. They were all so welcoming, helpful and genuinely wanted us to have a wonderful experience, which we certainly did! Special mention to Sumayah, Ramin and Ariz, you are brilliant at your job, thank you for making our date night so fantastic.”

“A wonderful full on experience. I chose the KF Fish wings as my starter. This chef must be mad to come up with the idea of fish wings KFC style. It’s so hard to eat without getting frustrated by a bone here or there; but it is soooo worth it. A totally tasty, barking mad, delicious starter. Being a Friday I followed by posh fish n chips. It’s just what to expect from an excellent restaurant. Spot on. To finish Rasberry soufflé. An amazing and incredible desert. It’s a must visit restaurant.”

“We had an absolutely fantastic meal at Botley Mill! The food was a solid 10/10 – beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout, but what really made the evening extra special was the personal touch. When we arrived, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of prosecco and a card signed by the team congratulating us on our one year wedding anniversary. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant so much to us. Thank you for making our night so memorable, we’ll definitely be returning! (I only took a picture of our starter as i was too excited to dig in and forgot a photo of our main and desert!) Glass of prosecco again had been half drunk before i took a photo”

“First time here, and its tucked away on one of the backstreets which is quite nice actually. A group of 8 of us walked in and we were able to be seated pretty quickly. I was impressed with the food, the service was initially slow but sped up shortly after. Overall a nice meal and would go back! This restaurant allows you to charge your phone whilst at the table with a portable power bank from in house. That's quite unique and its the first restaurant i have been too which does this. Well done to Smugglers for introducing that.”

“Really enjoyed our breakfast at Bill's. Their big breakfast isn't as big, but was definitely delicious and hence I was able to completely polish it off. They even changed the egg to match my preference. The bacon, baked beans, eggs, mushrooms, and sausages were cooked to perfection. The black pudding however was not my favourite. Their jam and toast martini with vodka was one of my favourite things all day. Definitely try this if you visit.”

“We had such a lovely experience at The Real Greek in Southampton, and a big part of that was thanks to Kasia. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. She checked on us at just the right moments and made us feel genuinely looked after throughout our visit. We ordered the seafood platter, which was delicious, and Kasia made sure everything was perfect. Her friendly attitude, professionalism, and natural charm really elevated the whole meal. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!”

“Slightly biased as have been coming here since the early 80s, and although we miss the old style pub, it could have ended up much worse than it is design wise. Food quality is back on an even keel and is consistently of good quality and presentation this taking away that level of apprehension you feel when you go to so many restaurants these days. Shout out to the young ladies and men of the service team who provide a very professional level of service in a pub / restaurant which I know for a fact can suffer from some challenging customers at times...”

The steak pie was excellent and my friend loved his fish pie. All served with chips if you want. Their coffee is great. The Baguettes are yummy.”

Assisted with removing the chair so I could sit in my wheelchair. Got us started with water and nachos, then sent our server over to take our order. Service was great, very efficient. “The food was really good other than the Calamari which was not in rings and more like squid bites It was tiny for £9.25! Our waitress Aim was an absolute delight, she couldn’t do more for us. She made extra effort to engage with my 3 boys showing interest in the game they were playing and the food they were ordering and making our birthday celebrations that little more special. I can’t believe she has only been working there a few days, she’s worth every penny you pay her, hold on to her she’s fabulous. Thanks so much Aim”

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and genuine hospitality the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more attentive. The food was incredible everything tasted freshly prepared and bursting with authentic flavor. The grilled meats were tender and perfectly seasoned, the bread soft and warm, and every side dish felt homemade. Portion sizes were generous without sacrificing quality you definitely leave full and happy. The atmosphere is inviting and vibrant, with a lovely mix of cozy and lively. Whether you’re going for a casual dinner or a special evening out, it’s the kind of place that instantly feels welcoming. I can’t recommend Mevalana enough — 5 stars across the board for food, service, and ambiance. We’ll definitely be coming back!”
