“The host greeted us by assisting with the door as we approached. Very friendly, showed us to our table and let us pick where we'd be most comfortable. Assisted with removing the chair so I could sit in my wheelchair. Got us started with water and nachos, then sent our server over to take our order. Service was great, very efficient. Server ensured we had exactly the food we wanted. Cleared empty plates in a timely manner. Overall great service”

“German Doner Kebab (GDK) on the Above Bar Street in Southampton is a perfect place to enjoy a modern take on the classic kebab, serving up fresh, flavorful options in a clean, and fast-casual setting. The premium meat (both chicken and beef) paired with vibrant sauces makes for a satisfying meal. I was impressed by the kind attitude and professional behaviour of the staff especially Hamza Khan’s helping hand in making the order. Each time I visited the shop, I was received with a smile and a warm welcome. For me the OG Kebab, flavoured chips, garlic, and yogurt sauces and cane of coke makes it a perfect meal of the day. I would recommend it to everyone who would like an original taste of GDK in the heart of Southampton.”

“Having walked the streets of the beautiful village of Ringwood, many times, had coffee and eaten in almost every place, I have no idea, how I missed this little spot! Insignificant from the outside, but step inside and you will be treated to a taste of Italy! You know from the moment you walk through the door, that this will be a good experience! Clean, authentic, genuine Italian business with Artisan food and wines to showcase Italy’s beautiful produce. Having not eaten there before, I opted for the dish of the day which was a safe bet. A beautiful pear and pecorino ravioli. A simple, humble dish, what could go wrong? Well, absolutely nothing! In fact, all my expectations were exceeded and left me yearning for a next visit. Super little place, great atmosphere, really good food and lots of goodies to treat yourself to enjoy at home. Melt in the mouth pasta, bursting with flavour. Simple ingredients where the produce is respected and the food speaks for itself. Great for lunch, I am sure dinner is just as good and with some great quality wines, specialist collections, you can’t go too far wrong.”

“We stopped for lunch in this proper cosy pub with a thatched roof and log burning stove in the heart of the beautiful New Forest just before Christmas. There were locals propping up the bar (always a good sign), the staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.”

“Went to the Bell Inn today for an afternoon tea. Arrived early but the staff were very obliging and seated us 30 mins before the afternoon tea started. I’d asked in advance whether my sister in law could have plain cheese and ham sandwiches as she doesn’t like any salads, pickles etc. Her sandwiches were perfect. Along with mine, the cakes were delicious as were the scones, lashings of clotted cream, yummy. Would definitely recommend the afternoon tea as The Bell Inn.”

“Fantastic! My husband and I ate here Saturday night and went back today for a Sunday roast. We both had the skate Saturday which was the best I’ve ever had. Really large portions and cooked to perfection. The beef roast today was also fantastic. Huge portion again and really delicious. Staff were really friendly, taking time to chat with people and made to feel very welcomed. Would definitely recommend.”

I paid under £15, which is excellent, especially for a late-night bite after being out. Nice atmosphere overall and everything was spot on. Highly recommend.”
