“Thanks for amazing good, speedy service and kind offers! Minu was very nice to us. First time at GDK and certainly not last :) The inferno was a little spicy but not as much as we expected, but the kebab was great and toasted really good. Not super messy either.”

“When looking for a place to eat we seen this place on Google. We were staying around piccadilly was around 10 min walk from there. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and did everything to make sure you enjoyed the food and your time there, lots of advise and options on food if you weren't sure about anything. Food was amazing and did not have to wait long for it. Great atmosphere lots of laughter from staff and guests. We didnt book but we went at a early time at 4 as it did start getting busy around 5. Will 100% go back here to eat.”

“Our first visit after my parents recommended it. We didn't book but we were accommodated straight away and shown to our table. After browsing the menu we chose the two courses for £9.90 . The starter arrived which was delicious followed by a lovely main course. The staff were nice and friendly.”

“Highly recommending to try the entire menu. No matter what you get. It is fresh, well seasoned, cooked to perfection, and is delicious. I have visited several occasions and every time the food quality and the hospitality is beyond expectation. It is reasonably priced, good portions, friendly staffs, clean cutlery and seating area, also they got family seating area too for more privacy, and lots of parking space. This is a must try because It is authentic, definitely one of the best Middle Eastern resturant not in leeds but in The UK. Vegetarian options available too which also mouth watering. I certainly will visit again.”

“Firstly, the resturant looks like some futuristic place from Japan, I was really taken back at how professional the place looked. And secondly, the food was absolutely delicious as well as really well packed up for take away. Kebabs, or Swarma as some call this, is quite a messy food at best of times, so I was surprised how well presented this was for a fatty And saucy food. Highly recommend this place!”

“Amazing Place. Great atmosphere,mega relaxed,, fantastic choice of sharing plates and chilled, professional staff. Not like normal tapas ... portion sizes are very generous so only 2 each required! Had ribs, duck, corn and fennel curry ... not picking out one because they were all delicious. Range of cocktails unique and was good to try something different .... again tastebud delight. Next time we are anywhere remotely near this area we will be making a trip to Lilypad x”

“Fab place! We popped in for lunch on our way home to Teesside and loved it so much we decided to book into a local hotel for the night and come back in the evening for drinks! “We don't find ourselves in Leeds often but when we do we always visit Doner Summer. The food is excellent - the portions, the FLAVOURS so so good. I had the vegan spice bag and the flavour was great. The texture of the fried chicken was wonderful, and I really appreciated the softer tofu chunks for a variety of textures in the plate. My partner got a kebab and he devoured it. Got some tater tots to share and they were also the perfect crunchy but soft on the inside texture. Their own sodas are also incredibly tasty - i have a soft spot for the elderflower and apple one! The staff are always prompt and attentive, and I appreciate being asked if I'd like a to go box for left overs (we only had some tater tots left and were travelling so passed, but still a nice gesture to help combat waste as well). The price is also very fair for the quality and portions. Unsure when we will next be Leeds-way but if we are we look forward to being back again!”

“I went here last week for a birthday meal and it was great! Great service, pretty environment and very friendly staff! We were welcomed and seated pretty much as soon as we walked in and the waiting time for the food was decent! Zara who was serving us was lovely, such a great service! We weren’t waiting too long and the food was also really good. The burger I had was delicious and the fries were good too! I especially loved the little pot of sauce that came with the meal! The meal was also beautifully presented! Very friendly and welcoming place that serves really nice food! Definitely recommend :)”

“Wow. What a place. Absolutely buzzing with atmosphere on a Thursday night. We didn’t order food (apart from a couple of packet of tasty Yorkshire Crisps) but the food & portions looked awesome. Great selection for all tastes (Carnie, Veggie & Vegan). We got the only two seats at the very narrow bar and had a right laugh with the no-nonsense bar crew. It was so easy to order drinks using a number on the display next to the bar. The beautiful wooden rafters and full taxidermy wall make the upstairs bar one of the maddest place to get a pint. I think there is a potato is a big cat’s mouth. Standard. Sheepskin covered church pew and candles in bottles with years of dripping wax adds to the madness. As well as the incredible selection of cask & keg, they had Whitby Rum on the shelf. No generic spirits here! Oh and the soundtrack… The bar crew were playing what they like. Not what the brewery tells them to. Refreshing! Can’t wait to return.”

Not only is Lishman’s incredible in terms of its obvious quality, I’ve genuinely never had a single thing that’s been anything short of fantastic. The entire team are absolutely brilliant. “Walked in just after it opened Waiter came quickly and sat us down and asked how we were. She recommended some dishes. Very knowledgeable staff. She was called SUMI. She knows her stuff. Very intelligent welcoming woman. We ordered the Korean with egg fried rice. Chicken dumplings. Malaysian butter chicken, Black pepper beef noodles, volcano sushi. Now let me tell you about the Malaysian butter chicken dolloped ontop of a crispy baby paratha. This was next level, would come back just for this. Volcano Sushi was genuinely really nice and crispy, easy on thr tongue. All in all, this place is legit, and defo recommended for people who want a different taste to your usual burger and pizza. Blue lagoon was spot on. Not too sweet. It was perfect”

Staff very friendly and attentive, atmosphere lovely and both my husband and I had the best pizzas we have had in a very long time- the base was light and crisp, toppings we plenty and tasty. “We found Major Tom's Social to be very welcoming. They serve a wide selection of good beers and play an eclectic selection of music. They only have a small food menu. However, the food is so good they don't need a wider range. We felt that a lot of thought went into the food and drink offers.”
