“A brilliant restaurant with fantastic menu. We had the Scallops, Lobster Ravioli for starters, Duck breast, Beef Fillet for mains, apricot dumpling and pancake filled cherries for desserts. The staff were very friendly and the owner made time to talk to every table. A great fine dining experience.”
“Have only ordered online for delivery, which takes about 50mins but their kebabs are good. Their pizza from our first order was so bad we binned them all, but the complimentary garlic bread pizza on our second order was so delicious. Regardless, we shall still be ordering from here again as it’s one of the better kebab places around. I like that they use naan rather than pitta bread.”
“Had a wonderful meal at the German Doner Kebab eatery in Exeter. Was a fantastic surprise! The meal was amazing, full of quality ingredients and the price were superb. The interior decor was clean, sharp looking, modern and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely go back and visit again. If you like kebab or just love trying something different then please try this exciting new eatery.”
“I recently visited GDK in Plymouth and had a great experience. Bilal was incredibly welcoming and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. The food was fresh, tasty, and served quickly, and Bilal made sure everything was perfect. Definitely one of the best customer experiences I’ve had at GDK. Highly recommend!”
“Not sure I should be saying how wonderful this restaurant is as it will then become so popular that there will be no room for us!! Seriously, my good lady and I have just enjoyed a most superb Sunday Lunch where the quality of the food and the quantity of the serving were second to to none. Lovely venue, excellent service, extremely good value for money and lovely atmosphere. Thank you so much!”
“A lovely halal takeaway with a very patient friendly man. I had a group of very picky children but the gentleman who was serving was kind and patient and gave us a very generous portion of mixed kebab and after a bit of misunderstanding also included some extra chips with our meal. Thank you !!”
“Nibble boards - really nice range and quality Pizzas - each four flavours we ordered were different and high quality - lovely, crisp, fresh Service - super helpful and lovely to have a vegan staff member be able to be so reassuring! Great options and great flavours. Would definitely come again!”
“We were on holiday staying at Portwrinkle holiday houses and this pub was a short walk from the beach and lovely Sunday roast and great portion size. Really friendly and welcoming staff and was able to fit us in as a table of 8 at fairly last minute. Great place would highly recommend”
“We had a wonderful Sunday lunch - went for the large two meat roast and it was huge! Meat was tender and so flavourful, as were the other accompaniments and lovely gravy - very important! Our dog was made very welcome and there was a lovely buzzing atmosphere, possibly busier than usual inside because the weather didn't really allow for people sitting out. Staff did an amazing job especially considering it was so busy and they do a long lunch service. You'd be very lucky to get in without booking, a good sign that it's popular!”
“Had lunch here for my daughter's birthday and it was absolutely lovely. The food was delicious (sushi platter was great, and the agedashi tofu was fantastic) and a really lovely atmosphere. Service was top notch as well - my daughter was particularly happy with the impromptu happy birthday singing! A really wonderful experience - we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Particularly good place to celebrate a special occasion. Thanks for making it such a happy occasion!”
“This cafe has a slight retro vibe with efficient, friendly staff. My unexpected treat of whilst I waited for the 'weather' to clear. Full fry up, very tasty and excellent value. Breakfast plus 2 coffes (free top up), all £10!”
“Lovely place. A real find! Friday night is fish 'n' chip night, and was one of the best I've tasted! Excellent food at really good prices with great service. What's not to love, eh? Get ther if you can, I say!!!”
“Great pub, really nice food and welcoming, friendly service”
“I cannot believe how much fish and chips costs these days, but if you're going to fork out you may as well get the best. Me and my wife shared a large haddock and large chips, which was around £17. A regular chips would have been fine. Ate on a bench up the road. Beautiful. Would go back. Be warned - big queues, but actually food was ready in about 15 mins which is fine.”
“A great village pub comfy room and a great breakfast friendly atmosphere staff were amazing evan dropped us to tunes in the park nothing was to much trouble would highly recommend 5 star service”
“Great place for tots, teenagers and older folks. So much to do including 10 pin Bowling and Dogem Cars. Nicely stocked bar and restaurant selling basic meals.”
“Best in Plymouth and good value for money”
“Efes Grill never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious, and the flavors are truly authentic. Tonight, was exceptional—perfectly prepared and full of taste. The team especially Rodi went the extra mile by topping us up with extra sauce and fresh bread, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, top-notch service and quality. Highly recommended!”
“After arriving at the crooked inn me and my partner was welcomed by a lovley young lady who showed us to our room after telling us where breakfast would be in the morning. And told us the restaurant was still open and as soon as we are ready to pop back and she would take our orders. Absolutely wonderful food. Will certainly go back again”
“Charcoal grill is the outstanding kebab house in Torquay. We eat there regularly as not only is the food an absolute delight the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The service is excellent and we enjoy the conversation whilst the staff prepare our food.”
“This is marmite sort of place, packed with student most of time. Sitting at the long tables is a sociable experience. You can get beers in very large glasses which is a bonus. It is quite sparse decor wise but, and they have weird sing along Bavarian themed evenings which are a bit hard to get in to unless you are blind drunk. . . .which you likely would be owing to size of glasses.”
“3 of us had a lovely meal, I had meaty chips pizza style which was served hot, and super fast, we had 2 drinks including a milkshake and a waffle, and now I'm in a food coma. All of the staff were very friendly. We all said that we would definitely visit again.”
“The food is epic and great. The only downside is when you go on Google to get their number to ring in to order as they charge you at £1.99p charge for ringing through Google They need to charge you a further £3 for delivery charge for the distance then charging you the amount for your food Order they should not charge you for ringing up and ordering it with the phone they should just charge you the delivery charge fee including the price for ordering not charging you as well for ordering it over the phone free phone call”
