A fantastic cafe and a great place to grab some breakfast before a hike or even as a potential pit stop during your hike. There is a great selection of food at a really good price.

I did not feel a warm welcome when I arrived and felt a bit unwanted. The food was also disappointing, as the bread was served without being toasted and I had to ask for it to be done properly and the jacket potato was very dry. Most of the staff didn’t seem very friendly, and one in particular was quite rude. However, one of the staff members was very nice.

This cafe has a slight retro vibe with efficient, friendly staff. My unexpected treat of whilst I waited for the 'weather' to clear. Full fry up, very tasty and excellent value. Breakfast plus 2 coffes (free top up), all £10!

We came here today with my Dad & step mum who is recovering from surgery. We booked a table while travelling over the moors towards Princetown, and on arrival, our table was waiting. Served by friendly attentive staff, our order was soon taken, and after a short wait, our freshly prepared food was brought to our table. Food was very tasty, well presented and hot, which was nice as outside the temperature was just above freezing. Washed down with a large pot of tea, full & and contented, we headed out in snow flurries for our journey home. Highly recommended will definitely be back once again.

Lovely staff and great cream teas, plus very dog friendly. However you can't avoid your clothes smelling of cooking (bacon and chips) when you leave. Not to be helped I guess when the windows are all closed and the kitchen extraction was not working well.

Fabulous family friendly café/ fish and chips shops. Very wide menu including great vegetarian options (recommend the vegetarian chili with chips). Well worth the visit.

Very often the only place to get anything in Princetown. It's a little safe haven in the wilds of Dartmoor where the quality of fish and chips is always guaranteed. The staff are always friendly even when they're busy. Cream teas are the best for miles around too. It's easy to recommend this place.

This is my favourite place to visit when we're on holiday in Plymouth, situated right in the middle of beautiful Princetown, we ended up going twice this time. The cream teas are exceptional and this was also the first time we tried their hot food and we weren't disappointed. All day breakfast was top notch and the roast dinner that they do everyday is gargantuan! Proper puddings too. Can't wait for my next visit
