We were on holiday staying at Portwrinkle holiday houses and this pub was a short walk from the beach and lovely Sunday roast and great portion size. Really friendly and welcoming staff and was able to fit us in as a table of 8 at fairly last minute. Great place would highly recommend

This is how a pub should be! Great staff, fantastic food, lovely atmosphere. So good we booked it for the following night to celebrate our son’s RN pass out. Exceptional doesn’t cover it - cannot recommend highly enough!

Had Sunday roast here as a family and it was delicious! Huge portions full of taste and quality. Gluten free roast was still big and tasty. Service was quick and very personable. Fully reccomend

Absolutely loving this place, host is brilliant. Food excellent (pricing as you would expect). Pub is busy - we booked the restaurant and food was quickly served even though the place was busy. The waiter had an incredible moustache. The room had a wonderful view, very clean and Well catered (tea/coffee/fridge/water) and breakfast unexpectedly comes within the room price! Extra happy about that as we are walking to Falmouth. Will visit again!

We stopped off for Sunday Lunch. The food was delicious, we ended up having a children's portion with extra veg as we hadn't planned a big lunch which was plenty. Service was good and views across Tamar Valley were stunning.

Group party of 8 went for Sunday lunch, booked online which was quick and efficient, with a friendly confirmation returned. Lovely welcome by hosts, all tempted by the roasts which was the correct choice, plenty of food fresh and well cooked and fully satisfied the whole party. Would 100% return if we are ever back down this area.

Had a lovely Sunday roast. Delicious. Only criticism is the gravy should be in a gravy boat but that's a personal feeling but didn't ruin the meal.

Haven't rated rooms because not stayed over. Went for Sunday lunch. Food was good. Only a few ales available but were very good. Would recommend.

On a chilly night, the roaring double sided log burner in the middle of the bar area is delightful. Cosy, comfortable, staff welcoming. Food always delicious. Could be more vegetarian/vegan options (only 2 but not sure if these are vegan). Specials board. Good selection of beers/drinks. Toilets clean. Very dog friendly. Always busy...best to book a table
