“Anyone with a dog with gastric problems/food allergies really should speak to Sam. I have been buying my dog food from them for some time and when I had a delivery one time the driver asked a few questions about my dog and diet. I explained how my dog was a really difficult case and had many allergies and could only eat one type of single protein and was on steroids, antibiotics and antacids and had been on these (prescribed by the vet) for over a year. He suggested I speak to Sammie (Redpaw owner) as she is an experienced dog nutritionist. I was sceptical as I thought I had a very experienced vet but I was getting desperate as my dog wasn’t getting any better, in fact she was getting worse. Sam talked to me for ages asking questions about my dog and even seemingly knowing when the problems began and even guessing how the symptoms progressed. Then she blew my mind by telling me there was nothing wrong with my dog and she could get her off all her drugs and back on a normal diet. I was fairly disbelieving but as my vet had given up on her I thought I would try (he agreed to the medication stopping but said he didn’t think it would work). She started her on some supplements and gradually reduced down the medication slowly and gradually built up the different proteins. Six months later my dog is on no medication and a normal diet. We have very few of her old symptoms (occasionally has a little bit of sick but I can now recognise the triggers and treat with supplements accordingly) We are saving a fortune and my dog is healthy and very happy. She also had a big problem with Pica (eating non food items (in particular my childrens pants, socks, swimming costumes etc)) and she had to wear a muzzle in the house and we had more gates to different rooms than when the twins were toddlers, this has now totally resolved and she is muzzle free and gates are down. Finally she was a beautiful golden colour as a puppy and about the time her symptoms started she lost all her colour and became white, a few months into Sammies regime her colour came back and she is now a lovely golden colour again. I kid you not, from having one of the most difficult dogs to deal with I now have the healthiest, happiest dog ever. She also sorted my elderly cat out, who had lost weight and had some skin problems and he has now gained back to his original weight, skin has cleared up and is much perkier. A big thanks to Sammie and the team at Redpaw, they are amazing.”

The whole process was smooth from start to finish – I shared my likes/dislikes and some inspo pics, and they came up with the perfect design that was exactly what I envisioned. The quality is amazing and it looks fab in our home. What’s really stood out though is the customer service. I reached out on Instagram recently because my two mischievous puppies decided to go through a chewing phase and damaged the woodwork. Harry was so helpful and went above and beyond – he sent me some metal edging to cover the damage and stop any more chewing, plus a little pot of paint in the exact colour of my crate to touch up the marks. He even threw in some treats for the pups (even though they definitely didn’t deserve them after that haha). Honestly can’t recommend The Pet Carpenter enough – beautiful craftsmanship, fantastic service, and they really do care about their customers long after the crate arrives.”

“We left our 4 chihuahuas and 1 sausage dog here for a week. We couldn’t recommend this business more highly. Our dogs are very small and nervous so we were worried. We were amazed at how they just happily walked off with the staff on the first day. These staff are total experts and really love the dogs. We’ve seen videos of wagging tails, tummy rubs and food scoffing - never thought our dogs would do any of that! They’ve come back happy and well. I will not hesitate to leave them here again. “Our dog has just had his first stay at Rowes Pet Hotel. Sharon filled us with confidence. The kennels themselves and the exercise area are all perfect. The kennels are exceptionally clean and heat controlled. Sharon gave us a tour when we arrived and throughout his stay she really seemed to get to know our dog and to meet his needs. She is clearly very experienced. She was happy to communicate with us during his stay to offer reassurance, which we appreciated. We’re not certain he wanted to leave as he had a lovely time running around in the enclosed field! Thank you Sharon.”

“Lovely place, very clean, friendly and helpful, after we experienced an awful time leaving our dog with a pet sitter at home we decided kennels was safer I was so worried being an older dog and not being used to kennels but I felt at ease leaving her in good hands, because the staff make you feel at ease. our dog loved it here! She’s come home very calm and I can tell she’s been well looked after. the kennels are large clean, she come home very happy and healthy, I have no concerns at all and I’m so pleased we’ve found somewhere our beloved family pet can stay whilst we are away and know she’ll be well taken care of, it takes a big stress away from our family and we will most definitely be using chatmar again and recommending them, it’s also in an ideal location just off the A30 slip way so it’s easy drop offs with no hassles when travelling. “We first contacted Paws Pals 5 years ago when my wife and I were both travelling extensively. At the time we needed a cat sitter for two cats for 6 weeks. Since then we have used them frequently for long and short periods of time. Over the years we have had many difficult requests, for example we adopted a stray tom cat 2 years ago that had to be kept apart from the other cats for a month and during that time we had to be away for a couple of weeks. Julia, who owns Paws Pals, did not mind in the slightest and got on with everything without any issues. We now have 3 cats who all need feeding different food, at different places and one of them is an indoor cat who requires a litter tray. I have to say Julia has been amazing over the years and we owe her so much. She is super responsive, efficient and flexible and we trust her completely. The cats never seem to miss us when we get back.”
