“Had to make several visits with Minnie in last three weeks to have various tests and she has been diagnosed with Diabetes, needing insulin twice a day. I was quite taken a back by the substantial costs l have had to pay for everything so far, for the consultations, the treatment, tests and medical equipment l had to purchase. I was expecting to pay, but not as much as I have done, and this is still ongoing. Having said that, I could not fault the excellent service and attention Minnie has received so far. 30th July 2025 - Had to visit the vet again today as Minnie is not eating well and still drinking a lot. I had concerns, because I wasn't sure of the amount of insulin dosage l should give her. I phoned them yesterday afternoon and was told that I would receive a phone call that evening, as the vet was at another practice .I did receive the call, and they suggested they would make appointment for today, as vet wanted to see her. I was very grateful for the quick response. Vet did some more tests today, and her glucose levels were much to high. They want her to be monitored, and suggested she spends a whole day with them under supervision, so she goes in on Tuesday next week. I cannot fault the attention they have been giving her, and I can see that they care about the animals and do all they can to help them live the rest of their lives in comfort and painless.”

“Our pups B+M love their time with We love pets. They’ve visited for stay overs with their boarding service while we have been away and have had many walking sessions. We know they love their time with Kirsty and Matt as anytime we walk past them or their house our pups get extremely excited. It’s really comforting knowing B+M are with people they’re comfortable with and who obviously love animals. We wouldn’t consider using anyone else.”

“Excellent service visiting the area for a few days and my dog who had been sick unexpectedly. Nothing to do with her surroundings or people as visits regularly. Managed to fit me in same day appointment. My dogs tail wagging for the first time in 2 days. Here till Saturday and advised if tge injection and meds don't work within 72 hours bring her back as they will keep her medical records open. Fantastic vets thank you for putting my mind at ease so quickly and looking after Sky.”

“Wonderful service, I would not trust my assistance dog to be walked by anyone else but me! But Poppy service is personal, reliable ands my dog seems to be smiling when he returns home from his 3 times a week pack walk with Poppy for an hour. She is always prepared for the weather conditions, like water for all the dogs when out, when hot! My dog adores her, and gets so excited when waiting for her to arrive!”

“Well, what a lovely experience for my nervous little rescue Frenchie! Up until today she wouldn’t let strangers pick her up, not even her vet is allowed to put her on a table and examines her on the floor. Within 60 seconds of entering Pugs in a tub she was up in on of the guys arms! When I collected her they had even managed to clip her claws for me which I was amazed at as she doesn’t let people touch her paws!! She’s currently sprawled on the sofa enjoying (noisily) her rabbits ear… thank you guys, amazing job and care!”

“I stayed at No.27 B&B in the Villiers room, and it was absolutely spotless. Wayne and Diego were so welcoming, helpful, and friendly, helping us with our bags and any questions we had. Breakfast was lovely, and hosts were both very considerate about our allergies. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return. Thanks, Wayne and Diego - you have a beautiful place.”

“I love this shop! Hannah is very helpful and knowledgable. We regularly ask advice from Hannah and always buy Riley's kibble and treats from her. For such a small shop it has an incredible range of food, treats, toys and accessories for dogs, cats, birds and other pets. It's fab!”

I spoke to a very knowledgeable lady called Poppy and she was so informative and helpful along with a very friendly attitude . I got some immunity powder from Lysiphar and he’s now started this along with pre and probiotics . Thank you to Poppy for taking such good time and attention to us .”

“Love this place! It’s huge which means loads of choice for natural healthy dog treats and a large selection of nature’s menu frozen food which is good. I have yet to notice a brand sold by one of the larger pet chains that isn’t here and it’s all well priced too. Staff are also really nice. Only complaint would be all the dog snacks by the till, I’m like a kid at the corner shop, by the time they’ve finished ringing through what I picked up in the shop, I’ve added several more items from their till side selection!”

“I recently placed on an online order with A Coombs pet centre. I'm so impressed. I'm usually a bit nervous ordering from smaller companies but the delivery, speed and customer service was amazing. My cat has a condition and the vet gave me some recommendations for food for my fussy cat. I like that they sell some of these more unusual monoprotein/hypoallergenic cat foods which seem hard to find online. They also sell the hills and royal canin wet foods in bulk and by the sachet/tin and it seems rare that companies sell by the sachet/tin and this is so helpful to try before you buy in bulk. I actually found them by asking chat GPT to find a retailer that sold all the foods I needed to purchase. I emailed them on a Saturday morning with a query and they got back to me within an hour, I placed an order about 9am and my order had arrived by 2pm the following day to Cornwall! That was with the free delivery. I'm really impressed and will be ordering from them again in the future.”

Best hair cut I think they have ever had in their lives. Allison was so attentive and careful asking about any requirements or issues they had. They have come out looking and smelling fabulous and happy- with bows on! Will be back. Highly recommend.”

“We were struggling to find our pup’s vet prescribed food anywhere in the country and not only did A Coombs have it in stock (their website has a very good availability indicator), it was priced competitively and they shipped it out post haste in fantastic packaging (vastly superior to Pets At Home). The team were responsive by email as we were so unsure they would actually have it in stock but indeed they did. A wonderful team and far better than the big chain stores. We’ll be using them again for sure!”

“A great selection of items to buy, i was looking for treats for our 2 dogs as well as my daughters hamster and was able to find and buy what i needed. The store was bright and clean and the staff member on the checkout checked if i needed any assistance and then left me to browse. The staff member was friendly and welcoming when i came to pay for my items. I will definitely return.”

“Our little Italian Greyhound Whippet cross hates getting her nails clipped but all the staff at Brighton Pet Spa were very understanding, persistent and caring and got the job done! Highly recommend and will be back to get our pooches claws trimmed.”
