“After attending and loving a GRC competition trial run by Linnea, I signed up for Walk and Train’s shadow programme — and I’m so glad I did! Between both Linnea and Gregor, they were full of knowledge and genuine love for the work they do. Throughout the programme, I got to discuss my future and how to get into the dog training world as well as observe a wide range of training sessions, from puppy development and obedience work to behaviour modification and GRC training. Each session offered something new to learn, and both Linnea and Gregor took the time to explain methods, reasoning, and the “why” behind every technique! What I loved was how calm, patient, consistent and fun they were with every dog and client. The ability to tailor their approach to each individual dog was brilliant and made me reflect on how I can apply the same adaptability in my own work. The experience was educational, motivating and so much fun — I came away with a deeper understanding of canine behaviour, training structure and the importance of clear communication between handler and their dog. I’d highly recommend this shadow programme to anyone looking to grow their knowledge, gain hands-on experience, or simply spend time learning from passionate, and skilled trainers! “By far one of the best hotels I have ever been to, Taia (unsure of spelling) the receptionist was the kindest sweetest person and made for hospitality. She made us feel so so welcome. Our Rooms facilities were INCREDIBLE the whole concept of the hotel is so chill and welcoming. Only teeny tiny little thing is the coffee could be replenished daily but that is me absolutely nitpicking. It was a perfect experience all around. (Wouldn’t recommend for young kids, seems more catered to adults/teens which I appreciated)”

“This shop belongs to my absolutely FAVOURITE uncle in the whole wild world! As his niece I can say that he puts so much love into everything he does and can offer such good knowledge and advice on any questions or issues you may have, to the girl giving it a 1 star saying she came in with her boyfriend, most these things in the shops you wouldn’t find anywhere else, you can buy birds and animals in the shop and she said she was disappointed because it was small like a kiosk… well it is a small self owned business that my uncle takes very good pride in and has a massive range of foods, toys, treats and stock that you wouldn’t find in Sainsbury’s or anywhere else, so she is really just talking rubbish. Amazing place. I don’t just say this because I am family. The reviews speak f or themselves!❤️”

“You must stay at this hotel! Not only is the location absolutely perfect, the room is so smartly designed and the beds were so comfortable. The decor was absolutely fantastic as well. Despite its location, the hotel was very quiet. The staff were super wonderful and helpful, and gave us great recommendations for food and drink along with some fun history about Edinburgh (a special shout-out to Martin).
