“A hidden gem! We booked a last minute stay in a shepherd’s hut and were so glad we did! Bob and Helen made us so welcome and provide everything to make your stay so comfortable. Set in beautiful countryside with great walks, farm animals - including chickens that provide breakfast eggs, we can’t recommend it highly enough. Great for families with little ones.”

“Our golden Mango is obsessed with daycare. The team at Tom and Toto are always so helpful, friendly and loving towards him. We are very mindful of who we leave Mango with as he is an extremely anxious dog but we never worry about him going to daycare as we know that he is in safe hands. We really wouldn’t send him anywhere else. Trust me, we travel 35 mins to take him every Wednesday! If you’re thinking about it…..do it!”

“We called in recently as we was looking for a PERFECT FIT HARNESS for our 2 cavapoos . it was the only place we could find them, the young man who fitted them was excellent made sure they fitted them properly ,we now have 2 happy boys who are happy to have them put on , as before their old harness had to go over their head which they did not like, it was certainly worth the 2 hour drive”

“Good variety of stuff for your pets, prices fairly low. I do like to support local businesses, unfortunately weren't open before 10am on market day, so they missed a few customers. The staff who did open up were moaning very loudly about a delivery driver who'd needed to deliver before 10...I really didn't want to listen to that. Perhaps a more positive staff attitude and an earlier start on market day might be nicer for us customers.”

“We visited ‘The Bird’ during a stay with family, it was brilliant. Fantastic menu in a spacious and beautiful restaurant/bar. The staff were without exception friendly, polite and attentive to all our requests. It was a pleasure to be there and without doubt be returning. “Great shop, saw a sign on the main road and turnt round to have a look, had a great selection of camping and gardening supplies and one of the guys there even done us a bit of a deal on a windbreaker we were looking at, great customer service from everyone we saw and spoke to and would highly recommend. Great to see a company doing the right things!”

“All the staff are great. Over the phone, WhatsApp and especially in person. They are always patient and kind. Today I saw one of the vets, Melissa who was really helpful and informative. I also forgot to charge my phone before coming out, so Emma on reception raced around trying to find numerous cables, from other members of staff, for me to charge my phone, so I could get petrol, as I had driven in on a near empty tank of petrol. She said I could pay over the phone when I got home. Ive been going here for nearly 14 years and they have been consistently great. Totally recommend!”
