“I have been visiting Riber pet shop in Matlock since Lulu came home to us, all the ladies have been extremely helpful and welcoming with all the accessories I have bought for her. At eight months Lulu was ready for stripping, I bought her in for the groomer to check she was ready and booked her in. They found a slot as they are extremely busy at the moment and when I took her in the groomer came out to meet us and made Lulu feel very comfortable. After an hour and half Lulu came out looking beautiful and so happy and the grooming was done to a high standard. I recommend Riber pets 100% and it’s one trip we both look forward to doing every time.”

“Sticking to Raw food was at first just because the breeder did it. Thankfully Raw Food is local so we went down. The friendly staff and great selection and prices kept us going! I had never used Raw in the past with our dogs but I'm a convert, with some help from the great staff we have been on it for a year and we have a very happy healthy pup. Our pup loves to visit and is always welcomed. Fantastic store, staff and great value! Highly recommend”

Geoff is a very large and Very bouncy beardie collie and he loves going to the spa (as we call it!) he comes out looking very handsome and smelling gorgeous! I never feel judged as keeping on top of this coat is a daily battle! everyone there is so lovely and kind! Highly recommended! Thank you for your hard work (I know he is hard work!) and looking after him so well whilst you do so!”

“Rang up last minute and managed to get my two Huskies in next day after a long weekend in the kennels. Both dogs really enjoyed the experience look and smell fantastic. We will definitely be taking them back again. We blow them out at home but it's nice to get them washed and dried easily with no messing about at home. Staff were very friendly.”

“Fantastic service! We've been using W&S to look after our cat for years and have always been very happy with them. Our cat has never been happy at a cattery so she loves to be able to stay at home and have someone to give her a cuddle as well as her food. We love the photo updates and that she can also be given medication when necessary.”

“Staff are really friendly and informative, they always greet you as you walk through the door which is nice. I use it mainly for live foods for my gecko but they're always fresh and last a long time unlike some other stores. They also helped me to pick out a better brand of food for my dogs as the selection is so vast it can be easily overwhelming so I really appreciated that.”

“Archie and Tink love visiting to get their nails done every 2 weeks. As older dogs, they're not as active and need their nails doing more often. Honestly, they view it as a treat, it's their time to visit their friends and get all the loves and cuddles. Tink was very nervous to begin with but now has her nails done easily (though really just wants the cuddles). The staff have always be astounding, and during this challenging time, when socially distanced my visits with my oldies has become a huge support for me. Stans Pals is the best!”

“Great local pet store, has all the essentials for all types of animals and a lot more. They do there own brand of dog food at good prices also do, Raw food, live food and all types of bedding and has the most beautiful animals. Staff friendly and helpful.”

“This is my local pets at home and I come in with my dachshund regularly. She is very picky with foods and Charl helped me and was so knowledgeable and helpful and Cider (my dog) LOVES the food she recommended. “This is my 2nd time ordering, both times extremely quick delivery, order Wednesday night and have received it Friday morning.So much choice and such piece of mind knowing the treats are all natural, my border collie has sensitive tummy but has had no issues with any of the treats, she loves the black pudding sticks and my bull Lurcher normally eats through treats in seconds but the hoofs have lasted ages. Excellent service and treats.”

The cleanliness throughout the hotel is impeccable, everything feels fresh and well looked after. The staff here are absolutely brilliant – friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The restaurant is top notch nosh, with great food and service to match. A special shout out has to go to both Pat and George for their incredible customer service. They were lovely, chatty, friendly, and nothing was ever too much to ask. They’re a true credit to the team and made my stay extra enjoyable. Can’t recommend this Premier Inn highly enough – I’ll definitely be back!”
