Anita checks in with me to ask how my cat Loki is doing and is also happy to offer further support and guidance. Could not be happier and couldn’t recommend this shop and the lovely couple enough! “Absolutely amazing!! I was shocked when I picked up my dog as he looked ‘brand new’, wonderful and friendly experienced staff who know exactly what to do to pamper your dog up! Enough can’t be said about how lovely the staff is, very accommodating as I had to pick up my son from preschool so they arranged a time so I was able to make it on time when they didn’t have to. Very cheap as well for the top service your dog will get. Can’t recommend it highly enough, we will be definitely coming back for another doggy pamper very soon!”

“We chose First for Pets to look after our two cats, Bruce and Ralph, whilst we went on holiday. Andrea was terrific; she came around for a visit before we went away to meet the cats and understand their routines. Andrea was so trustworthy that we actually asked her to move into our home for the week. We were sent lovely photos of “the boys” every day that we were away and a comprehensive diary so we knew that all was well at home. “I cannot speak highly enough of Animal Trust after taking my French bulldog there this morning. Following a dog trainers recommendation I contacted them on Monday of this week following a 7 year issue around nail clipping. No exaggeration when I say the best vet experience my dog has had ever! I was able to stay with her and comfort her whilst she was sedated, given a blanket for her to be comfortable. Something so small but have never been offered a chance to do at our previous vets. Within 5 minutes of being taken away, she had her nails clipped and was ready to go home. Again something that probably sounds insignificant but having to battle my dog's and my own anxieties for years the vet here made me feel at ease. Highly recommended and will 100% be taking my dog here for anything we need in the future. Thank you so much”

“Blaze my large boisterous dog has just stayed in Longmeadow and as usual has been well looked after, going out for runs and enjoying his stay, as I have previously stated he is no trouble when I drop him off, he pulls to go in, he is strong on a lead but the staff manage him well. I'm happy to go on holiday knowing that he is safe, well looked after and in good hands. May I take this opportunity to thank all staff at Longmeadows who care for him. “Can't recommend deb and Pam enough. We had a rescue dog from Bulgaria who had some behavioural issues when we first had him. They helped us with advice about managing him with visitors to the house, invited us on group walks and have done dog sits for us whilst we are away. Barney is now a calm and v happy dog and we are v happy relaxed owners! Thank you”

“When I brought my dog here, it had been because of an absolute emergency, a kind lady had brought us both here out of the kindness of her heart. The Vet who saw my dog did so instantly and with kindness, spoke to me like an actual person and charged me a fair price for helping my Emily. I cannot thank the angels who work here enough. My Emily seems to have made a full recovery through their quick action in a time I thought she was lost. Its to my shame that i do not know the name of the gentleman that looked after her, but I thank you with all of my heart. I cannot reccomend this place, or the people inside enough. If i could leave my reccomendation as a plaque on my home, then i would. Thank you.”

“Took Arlo for a shampoo and deshedding, as he is only 18 months old and quite big no doubt he was not the best behaved dog. When collected he smelt 100% better and the amount of shed hair around the house has reduced dramatically. Great service and would definitely recommend”

“I had recently heard of this shop when I wanted to fill my desire of finally owning a turtle, I phoned this shop to see if they could help my searches… and they did just that I was greeted at the door by a lovely lady who had also owned a musk turtle (she was so adorable) and gave me all of the advice and tips I needed to know before I purchased. Unfortunately at the time I didn’t have the money to get the turtle that day, but I had fount a way to afford my baby turtle and a healthy and happy environment to watch them grow I didn’t quite catch the ladies name but she was fabulous, quick and attentive with everything she had done. She had even kept the shop open 15 minutes later just so I could pick up my lovely turtle. Whoever this lady is you are amazing at your job and was so attentive today and we definitely will be returning soon to find rocket (our turtle) another friend. Thankyou, ThePetShop”

“First day opening groomers today and Toto had a great first puppy groom. His eyes all trimmed and feet, washed and dried. Very vocal through it all but plenty of tail wagging. He went in a puppy and came out a little bear. The groomers are very friendly and paid him lots of attention, the staff at this pet shop are genuinely Totos favourite people.”
