Excellent professional groom every time and Sophie is wonderful with my dog and so helpful. Having a poodle I wanted a groomer who could do poodle cuts so I found Sophie on the accredited groomers site and I was so fortunate that Dapper Dog was near by. My dog always looks fantastic and is happy on his return.
Sophie hand stripped my border terrier for the first time. She understood what was needed for the breed and has done a very good job. He looks really smart! She communicated swiftly and was very helpful.

It’s rare to find someone with the expertise and precision required for a proper show groom — but Sophie absolutely nails it every time.My dogs look flawless: beautifully hand stripped, perfectly presented, and handled with total care. Not many groomers can achieve this level of finish, especially with Airedale breed-specific styling, but this was show-ring ready. I’m always beyond impressed and so grateful to have found someone with real talent and passion for their craft. Highly recommended for anyone serious about quality grooming!
Sophie is always amazing with my poodles, so gentle with my elderly Miniature Poodle Poppy who suffered with arthritis. My small toy poodle, Rosie is a nervous little girl and Sophie is so kind with her. The dogs both look fantastic when they come home. Her grooming skills are top notch. I highly recommend Sophie at Dapper Dogs.
We wanted Ruby to be hand stripped - it keeps the Fox Terrier’s coat colours. So pleased to find Sophie at Dapper Dogs. I can’t recommend Sophie enough. She is very good with Ruby and she always comes away looking immaculate. Very pleased and can highly recommend.

Horrible horrible experience, my puppy is 5 months old , she was screamed at , held like a rabbit, it was coco’s first ever face cut , it’s frightened the life out of her , I’m absolutely gobsmacked with the womens attitude, never will I step foot By that shop again

Came this morning to have our dog groomed. Not very happy with the service we received is an understatement. Our dog is really nervous at groomers due to bad experiences in the past and this hasn't helped him. Told off by the owner for calling him good boy trying to reassure him. Blaming me for not looking after him properly which isnt the case, she said he doesnt appear to have been walked very often due to his claws being long, this isnt the case either he is walked 3 times a day minimum. How she spoke to me was disgusting and she never tried to reassure my dog . Avoid at all costs.
