“The girls and gentleman (used to work here, not seen him in a while, Richard) have always been soo helpful since I've had my 1st born (now 2 and a half).... they have always been welcoming and happy to take time to give advice. I can't thank them enough!! Unfortunately the staff have had some unwelcome guests into the store. These so called guests thieve what they want and harass and threaten who ever is on shift. To see the heart break in the staffs eyes is such a sad thing. They are on edge everytime the door opens. I hope these nasty thieves have what's coming to them. And as for the staff, we appreciate everything you do. I hope the store doesn't have to close due to those muppets. Thank you for everything and most of all, stay safe and stay strong x”

Welcomed by a lovely young lady smiling as soon as we walked through the door, lots of information/directions given, Excellent service from Georgia in the morning too, very polite smiley young lady. Fantastic nights sleep in a lovely clean spacious room, very peaceful settled night, cleaners were all lovely too and helpful with extra towels etc when asked. Lovely stay highly recommended, will definitely be staying again”

“Hi Boots I would like to say a big thank you to the staff at the Trysul Road Branch, Wolverhampton. My father-in-law had an urgent prescription but the pharmacy only had one of the two items in stock. The Pharmacist, Halima, called the local branches and found where the other item could be obtained as she was uncertain when the ordered item would arrive due to the weather problems. Area Manager, Gavin O’Hanlon, who happened to be in the branch at the time, said he would go collect it for us and so the prescription was ready very quickly. The branch sent me a text advising it was ready and we then delivered it to a very relieved 89 year old. Thank you to the staff for going the extra mile on this one. “Gus has stayed with Billy and Co around 5 or 6 times now. Billy is absolutely amazing with our large breed, over zealous bulldog, he is always greeted warmly and our dog clearly loves seeing Billy. He always comes home unscathed and settled. He's never lost weight during his kennel stays. He sometimes has the "kennel" smell but I think that goes with the territory! The kennels is very reasonably priced. So happy to have found a kennels we know and trust. Thanks everyone at Hatton! From Gus and family.”

Travelling on escalator from Upper floor to ground my hubby who struggles with the effects of Parkinsons missed stepping off the escalator and fell. Two wonderful people who were behind us helped out and stayed with him while I paid for Shopping so I could get him home. The staff nearby were also very quick to respond were attentive and helped me complete my purchases through the checkout. I can't thank you all enough. Sorry I didn't get anyone's names. “Had a wonderful overnight stay. Very clean and the bed was amazing. Bath was just pure heaven and suite was very spacious. Only negative was bulb was out in bedside lamp and they had put towels in the bathroom but not shower room and toilet paper in shower room but not bathroom. As we were only there one night it didn't matter but its attention to detail and as it was the honeymoon suite, only because nothing else was available we took this room. For the extra cost to a normal double you expect it to be just rite. But lovely stay and would recommend it.”

“I stayed here on the 17th of December and found the hotel not too bad. The gent on reception was polite and welcoming and I couldn't of ask for more for the price payed. People have to understand that these hotels lost a lot of support during the pandemic with ten of thousands of pounds lost. I have stayed in alot worse than this hotel and would return. “I don’t usually leave reviews, but The Connaught Hotel truly impressed me, so I had to. We stayed here for a wedding and booked multiple rooms. From start to finish, the staff were absolutely amazing, their communication, helpfulness, and hospitality really stood out. Some of our rooms were booked through Booking.com, while a couple were reserved directly over the phone. We found that calling the hotel directly can often get you a better rate, so it’s definitely worth checking. The hotel even upgraded our rooms for free, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our stay extra special. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt really well looked after throughout our visit. A huge thank you to all the staff, we’ll definitely be using The Connaught Hotel again in the future!”
