   I recently had my works Christmas party at Park Hall hotel’s festive party nights. It was absolutely fantastic! Very well organised, hard working staff, beautiful decor, great food and entertainment. All guests enjoyed themselves thoroughly and I will be booking again for next year (especially as I won 2 bottles of Prosecco!) thank you to all the staff who made everything run smoothly :)

   I booked a spa day with a massage and afternoon tea for my daughter and me as a special Christmas treat. We don’t get much time together, so having our massages at the same time was really important to us. Although the massage itself was excellent, we were left very disappointed when we were told we couldn’t have our treatments together because a staff member was off sick. This completely changed the experience we had planned and paid for. For a spa of this standard, I would have expected better communication or an alternative arrangement, especially when the whole point of the day was to enjoy it together. It’s a real shame, because what should have been a relaxing, memorable day ended up feeling disjointed.

   Little bit concerned given some of the reviews but need not have been. The room (No 120) was fine, the breakfast hot and ok, cereal, fry up and fruit all available. Staff were friendly, especially Sally the young man on reception when we arrived. Large event on during g our stay but parking not s problem and our room far enough away not to hear any noise. Bottom line, no real complaints, I'd say 3.5 star hotel facilities, an ok place to stay. Didn't have a chance to try out the spar facilities so cannot comment on them.

   If you're looking for a nice place with a real character and charm this is the place. The place had a wonderful setting and is probably a great place for various functions like weddings and conferences. I stayed as a guest and had a lovely time. The staff was excellent and attentive and there is also access to the gym and pool (though the pool is rather small). The room was clean and well taken care of. Note, that there is no lift though there are only two floors.

   Fabulous Wedding Venue for my sister in-law's special day! Had a 2 night stay. Lovely location, looks elegant too. The internal renovation looks opulent too! Big thank you to Amrik and her team for looking after us all. The food was absolutely amazing. (Even the veggie sausages for breakfast are the best I have ever tasted!).

   Pleasant stay, my bed was very comfortable and was glad there was a small fridge for me to store my milk for young child. The iron and iron board was exceptionally good as far as hotel irons go. Our bedroom had a nice small patio that overlooked a field which was nice. I wasn't too keen on the hot breakfast buffet but the continental section made up for this, good choice of jams, honey and far I say marmite.

   We stayed on Monday 23rd January for one night. Lovely hotel. We were made very welcome on arrival reception staff were attentive and helpful, booking us a taxi etc. Stayed in room 44 which was a lovely double with a fabulous walk in shower(I wanted to take it home)! Very comfortable bed and had a really good nights' sleep. Breakfast was self service with a great selection of everything you would expect breakfast to be from juices, cereals, fruits, selection of teas and coffees, the hot food was plentiful and everything a full English breakfast should be. I asked for poached eggs, which were cooked to perfection. I have to use a walking stick, so carrying things can be difficult but the very nice waitress helped me and was very attentive. We really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use the pool so can't comment on that. Overall a lovely hotel, beautifully decorated and fantastic staff.

2. The Adventures of Flo Mingo and Friends ★★★★☆

   A very nice hotel but if you're staying on the weekend for work and need sleep stay elsewhere. The party noise is not conducive to a good night's sleep. The bed is comfy and the room size generous, breakfast was varied and had a great choice. The outside and grounds are pretty and well kept. There's a spa which we didn't take advantage of. All of the members of staff we came in to contact with were pleasant and helpful. If it wasn't for the noise and needing to sleep this would be a 5 star review.

   Attended a Halloween event here which included pumpkin carving and a meal. Was not disappointed. The building itself is very clean and tidy with plenty of character and features. Staff were pleasant and friendly and the meal was delicious. Very impressed and the kids had a great time. Look forward to returning for some other events.

   Our stay was excellent, the rooms was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The the facilities in the gym was excellent and the spa was lovely. We both had a treatment which was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly at the spa. The staff in hotel was very friendly. A special 5 star rating to Marionette who worked in the bar and provided an excellent service as the restaurant was closed due to a wedding taking place that evening. She was so helpful we were was able to order an evening meal from the bar area. The meals was excellent. We would book again
