My girls have attended Sandhills since they were 8 months old and are now in their final months. My girls have flourished while being there and have made bonds with their key workers that are unbreakable. I have always received great feedback and the girls key workers are always on hand for a chat about their development/what are the girls next steps etc. The care they receive is exceptional and the girls are always thriving with the love and care they recieve. I can see how much they have grown more and more as the weeks go on, and I know Sandhills have helped the girls grow and gave them the foundations they need to achieve what they want and be ready for school. Recently due to starting school September there has been talks about emotion and how we feel as this is part of starting school. I would just like to mention Chloe L who has created a home learning journal for the children of preschool. She chose the book colour monster and provided lots of different activities for the girls and preschool to take part in. The girls have thoroughly loved taking part in the activities, they were able to use the sign language they have learnt for the signs to show us as a family and we have been discussing our feelings and what makes us feel that way.

Sandhills Nursery truly stands out as a shining example of fostering community spirit and nurturing young minds. Their weekly attendance at Bridge Manor to build relationships with the older generation is a heartwarming initiative that bridges the gap between generations, creating meaningful connections. It’s inspiring to see how this effort enriches both the children and the elderly alike.Visiting the nursery itself is equally delightful. The staff's interactions with the children are nothing short of exceptional. Their genuine care, enthusiasm, and dedication to creating a positive and engaging environment are evident in every moment. It’s clear that the children are not just cared for, but also encouraged to explore, learn, and grow in a supportive setting.Sandhills Nursery deserves every bit of praise for their commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive community for all. Highly recommended!

We've had the pleasure of running our Rhythm Time music classes at Sandhills for the last few years. This is a lovely setting, with lots of interesting and educational toys in every room. The staff are lovely, and have kind and caring relationships with the children. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of visiting this nursery last week and was really impressed. It was clear how well the staff knew and understood the children and both staff and children were excited to share with us what they had been up to that day. The Deputy Manager who showed us around was really knowledgeable and passionate. We loved our visit - thank you!

My son started nursery here early this year and at 18 month old he has progressed so much. He’s learnt a great deal and he’s learning to talk and understand everything in just a few months. I would 100% recommend this nursery. Staff/ key workers are all fabulous and very polite and helpful. The nursery itself is very clean and well looked after. My little one loves it there. Also the food they prepare for the children is a very wide variety and kids don’t get bored of eating the same foods.
