Hotel is quite dated. There is a very strong damp/musty smell throughout the hotel, so much so that we had to sleep with the window open and the heating on. Difficult to contend with the smell as two of us have Asthma. Booked a room for four but only beds for three made up when we arrived. The car park is riddled with quite deep potholes.

Very dated needs some serious tlc, rooms could do with a good clean. Certainly wouldn't choose this place again.

Location was ideal for us near Cannock chase. Room was the generous size & had the facilities we were expecting. As an ex-housekeeper I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness however. Dead flies and bugs on our sons bed by the window - clearly weren’t fresh sheets. Our bed had been made up with the sheets the wrong way around. Bathroom had pee & cleaning product around the base of the toilet. Bins were dirty under the bags / around the outside. All things that matter when your toddler touches everything!! Bathroom in general was a bit on the shabby side / didn’t feel very fresh. We’d still stay again for convenience but didn’t feel the price reflected the standard of cleaning provided.

Stayed for one night with my girlfriend. We were greeted by a polite member of staff on reception. The room was clean and tidy however, the bed wasn't very comfortable and there was some noise from people outside in the night (it does have a petrol station and burger right outside so maybe not ideal. The location isn't the best for accessing the motorway and there is quite a bit of traffic on a weekday morning. Did the job for what was needed.

A little noisy around the Lodge, but that's not the fault on hotel. Rooms very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Charging ports by the bed are very useful.

Rooms are clean and tidy and beds comfortable. Staff are very pleasant and efficient. Location is just on the edge of town and two minutes walk from the Vine inn, perfect. Only issue is the soap dispensers in the bath/shower. Stayed here new year weekend and now 13th and 14th January. Each time, the shower's soap dispenser gives one good squirt, then nothing. Good job I have some gel from other hotels. I guess I've been unlucky. Soon find out next Wednesday morning ony next visit.

An OK Travelodge conviently placed next to a somewhat busy road. There are plenty of car parking spaces at the travelodge which do accommodate for the amount of rooms they offer (which is 35). The staff at reception are decent and get things sorted for you quite quickly. The room was OK. The carpet looked quite worn out and could certainly do with replacing. The bathroom looked quite clean. Although, the soap dispensers were sort of like those ones in Premier Inn. Quite tacky. The TV was quite modern and functioned like it should. It was easy enough to connect my cousins Nentendo Switch to it without messing up any of the TV functionality. The was plenty of tea and coffee supplies in the room although the desk it was on also looked a bit worn out. The beds were clean and comfy unlike beds you find in other hotels which always have the springs popping out. The wall looked like it had been through a tough time as it almost looked like small holes had been punched through the wall. Although I only ordered for 3 people, the room actually had 1 more bed then what was advertised which is always a bonus. Unfortunately, this hotel seems to actract the worst type of people. The was a group of women sitting on the stairs in the dresseing gowns for some reason. The room opposite sempt to be full of people running in and out and keeping me awake for an hour while I was trying to sleep. I noticed an amount of people vaping and smoking outside of the hotel. Of course, these people are bringing their awful cigarette snells inside of the hotel which doesnt make for a great atmosphere. To be honest, I probably wont stay in this hotel again.

Arrived late at night after a very long journey from the south. Welcomed by a lovely young lady smiling as soon as we walked through the door, lots of information/directions given, Excellent service from Georgia in the morning too, very polite smiley young lady. Fantastic nights sleep in a lovely clean spacious room, very peaceful settled night, cleaners were all lovely too and helpful with extra towels etc when asked. Lovely stay highly recommended, will definitely be staying again
