   Had a wonderful week cruising on narrowboat Maddison that we hired from Jones Family Cruising. The couple provided excellent instruction prior to our journey and started off with a tour and demonstrations as required. We visited some beautiful areas locally prior to entering the Shropshire where yet again we were delighted with the beautiful countryside and the many quant public houses and restaurants. We were very fortunate with the weather and Maddison handled excellently throughout. As a party of four adults we found we had plenty of space and the facilities were more than adequate. If I could rate the owners and the vessel it would be 5 stars across the board. Thank you for a wonderful week on board your beautiful Maddison. Phil

   What a wonderful experience our family have just endured on board the Maddison, Brevic and Michelle are lovely people who explained everything to us before we departed on our journey for the weekend of relaxing and enjoying the scenery along with meeting friendly boaters on the canal system.    Our family have just spent a wonderful 5 nights onboard Maddison. Our daughter-in-law was apprehensive about spending 5 nights on a canal boat but she now thinks she could live on one! Maddison has everything you need and more. Brevic and Michele are brilliant owners who have gone the extra mile to make sure anyone who hires Maddison won't be disappointed. We loved the little extras like teabags, coffee, sugar, cooking oil. Maddison is spotlessly clean and so obviously loved and cared for. We'll definitely be back and possibly try out a different route. Thanks for everything. The Grainger family

   Our one week stay aboard narrowboat Maddison as a family of 5 was without doubt one of the best holidays we've been on. The boat itself is modern, spacious and clean. Extremely well equipped it affords most of the comforts of home, packed efficiently into the space of a narrowboat. Once you start your trip and begin to spot other boats using the canals you'll realise what a good decision it was to have hired this boat. The generic fleets of hire boats out there pale in comparison to Maddison. The owners are both friendly and professional and communicate well in terms of making the necessary arrangements for payments, arrival and general advice in terms of routes etc. They were always a text or phone call away when we needed advice during our trip. There's some beautiful routes to navigate around the area. Hazy summer days pottering down the waterways, feeding the ducks and swans and BBQs on the towpath - truely idilic. We were reluctant to hand the boat back at the end of our trip! We found the hire pricing for this boat to be excellent value for money. Watch out for the extra charges other hire firms impose for fuel and insurances. Thanks to the Jones family for an exciting and pleasent stay.

   We have enjoyed our family weekend on Maddison very much. Brevic and Michele made us very welcome on arrival and gave an invaluable introduction to the boat and how to manage locks and bridges. The boat is immaculate and very well appointed. They also gave us great advice on where to travel to, and which restaurant to dine in for a special occasion meal. The standard of Maddison was even commented upon by other boaters we encountered in our travels. A very big THANK YOU to Brevic and Michele.

   I was really apprehensive as a friend who was joining me and my son for the cruise had cancelled late on, but the orientation and cruising/ lock operating tuition before we were let loose was excellent. We soon looked almost like we'd been doing it all our lives and had no problems. The accommodation on board is very comfortable and worked perfectly for us - we had our own space, including bathrooms. And he even got to play on the play station in the evening. Would highly recommend.
