I had a very upsetting experience at Asda in Donnington, Telford. Approximately 30 minutes before the store was due to close, the lift was shut down. As a result, I was told I would need to use the stairs to leave the store. This was extremely distressing, as I have a broken knee and a blood clot, which makes using stairs unsafe and painful for me. Despite explaining my condition, there was no reasonable adjustment offered and no concern shown for my health or safety. I was effectively forced to walk down the stairs, which put me at risk of serious injury. To make matters worse, staff rushed us to leave the store, adding unnecessary pressure and stress to an already difficult situation. I felt dismissed, unsupported, and treated without consideration for my disability.

Shopping at Donnington store today after a long time between visits. Travelling on escalator from Upper floor to ground my hubby who struggles with the effects of Parkinsons missed stepping off the escalator and fell. Two wonderful people who were behind us helped out and stayed with him while I paid for Shopping so I could get him home. The staff nearby were also very quick to respond were attentive and helped me complete my purchases through the checkout. I can't thank you all enough. Sorry I didn't get anyone's names. My husband is Alan and he did chat to the lovely customer who helped. I wish you all the very best for Christmas and thank everyone who attended to us. Kate

I went to Asda this morning for a click and collect order and was really disappointed with the service. I checked in when I arrived, but nobody came out. After waiting about five minutes, I spoke to a van driver who said they were probably still setting up and someone would be with me shortly. Another ten minutes passed and still no one came, so I approached someone loading a van who said heβd get someone to help. I then waited several more minutes before someone finally came out, asked my name, and went back inside to fetch my shopping. The whole process took so long that I could have easily gone inside and done the shopping myself β which defeats the purpose of using click and collect in the first place. This really isnβt the kind of quick and convenient service I expect from Asda.

I can usually only shop in the evenings after work. Tills all shut, scan and go shut. Only self checkouts left, empty shelves, no chicken, no eggs, cardboard all over the floor. Not sure where the customer service desk has gone, seems to have been replaced by promotional products no one wants. Staff are more rude than used to be, other staff who claim they don't work a certain bit so don't know. Asda rewards app is apparently stopping star products and let's not get started on the Christmas debacle of their app which was not fit for purpose. I usually split my shop between Asda/Lidl/Aldi. Time to drop asda.

Big store, big carpark. Also has a petrol station. Costa store inside, self scan available and the cigarette sales are out of sight. Overall a tidy store and plenty of space in and out.

I have to hand it to the team at the pharmacy here - they did me a solid. I had spent hours on NYE trying to get medicine for my sister and when I thought it was finally sorted, it turned out the prescription hadnβt been sent over. The amazing lady working at around 7pm on NYE went above and beyond to get the prescription sorted, and even spent ages on the phone with Shropdoc to get it signed! I cannot sing her praises enough but unfortunately I do not have her name. It would have been much easier for her to just say the prescription hadnβt come through and sent me on my way but she really put the effort in and now my sister finally has her medicine which had been worrying me all day. Thank you so much to the team at the pharmacy!

Had to go into Asda Donnington today (21st April) O M G what has happened to that store ! It was 10.06 and the shelves were bear!! The bread all had 22nd or 23rd on them and the shelves were half empty. The end isles were mostly empty and full of empty cardboard boxes. The fridge contents had 28th at the front, 25th in the middle and 22nd at the back! The bakery had yesterday's bread on the shelves stating bake me fresh! and the baps had 21st on them! So much for FRESH bread. Dont think I'm going to be going in there again

Quick visit to asda Had a look around the store took a few pictures. Due to a few people going to the store over the weekend they have empty the shelfs of toilet roll. A few of the baby things are short on stock as well.
