“I cannot recommend Danielle enough!! She is absolutely amazing with my miniature dachshund Neo. He gets so excited to see her and go on walks with the rest of the pack. Danielle worked so hard to find smaller dogs for him to play with as he was a little scared of bigger ones at first! But now he loves all dogs. The pack walks are brilliant for socialising your dog and helping them gain confidence. Danielle always sends lots of videos showing how much fun Neo is having and I 100% trust he's in the best hands!”

“Recently boarded my bearded dragon and I can highly recommend. She’s not been well recently and is on critical care but this wasn’t a problem for Laura and Karl. I was sent updates and pictures whenever I asked which out my mind at ease. It’s very clear to see they love what they do and genuinely care for the animals that come to them. Despite living over an hour and a half away, I wouldn’t want anyone else to look after my beardie as they have lots of experience and knowledge as well as being very caring. Thanks again”

“As I was new to Hull city and I found this place cheaper than other hotels. I must say Glenn is a superb person who finds some time for his guests and deal them with a big smile and big heart. Alan is always there just on one text which is super quick. I love how beautifully they've organized this little place. The main entrance area isn't less than an antique piece of art. Amazing... For me it's 10/5 place to live. It's really near to shopping centre and water fall. Hope to see you guys next week.. thankyou so much for making such a suitable place to live for people like me”

“My beautiful keeshie has just returned home after her first ever experience at a gromers. She's been neglected by previous owner and now I'm giving her the life experiences she deserves. Couldnt recommend top dog salon any more! Staff are so kind patient and understanding i reached out on FB after seeing they had a refurbishment as was taking on bookings. Rang up had a good indepth chat with lady on the phone and she made me feel relaxed and at ease and had me booked in straight away. Keeshie arrived all happy and excited and can tell she was well loved in there. Honestly take great care of your fur babies. The best comment "keeshie was really good. Hard work but really good" like they new here all her life after a hour spent with them she's not keeshie without hard work being next to her name. Wouldn't have it any other way. Can't wait to have this place as her regular pamper sessions. Your babies are in good hands. Every staff member has a heart of gold thankyou”

“Only recently got a shih Tzu and have wasn't sure where to take her to be groomed had heard excellent reports about Paws n Claws so thought would give it a try. Both times she has come out looking and smelling amazing. She hates baths but the second time going seemed to be a lot better with it. Staff are very friendly and helpful and always there for the dogs and treat them as if they were their own. “My local Day Lewis Pharmacy on Newland Avenue in Hull is the best pharmacy I have ever used for my regular medication needs in my area. Staff are always friendly and efficient. You can expect very little waiting time in store as they are adequately staffed to prevent any long queues.”

“Best of the best in town if they dont have it in stock they can get it. The staff are very knowledgeable on everything from contents in the dog food to reccomend feed for the breed of animal or reptles. Come highly recommended and they deliver too which is a added bonus.”

If you can't find it in here, don't bother. Certainly wouldn't go to a chain pet store just because it's a penny or two cheaper when we've got this great shop on our doorstep. “Haven veterinary group took care of my rat pickle until we unfortunately made the decision to put him to sleep. They were always very helpful in getting us last minute appointments and listening to his issues. They were very thorough throughout his treatment. His euthanasia was also handled with remorse and care. It made an incredibly hard day, a tiny bit easier. I also received a thoughtful card from a few weeks later. Incredibly kind of them.”

Send you updates of your pet through out the day, the ladies are so lovely that work there and are highly professional. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, worth every penny. “Peejay pet superstore is our go to animal food store. They have the biggest range in the area. The choice of greyhound food is very good all clearly labelled With different protein levels to suit your dog. The chicken feed is also excellent, and There is a good choice of ferret food as well. It's a nice well laid out store. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The big sacks of pet food we buy are very heavy, so if you spend over £40 you can just call them with your order and they will deliver it to you for free.”

“Brilliant range of cat stuff for a small shop, particularly like the catit chicken dinner and catit divine shreds Also a fan of their tubs of cheap toys starting at 49p. Last trip I got four different normal toys and four from the under a pound basket and got changed including pound coins from a twenty pound note Would like to see the ball of wool toy by all back in stock please, this is the nearest thing I can find anywhere else and it's just not the same”

“Both our Rabbits are currently registered here, and though you might wonder about the quality of a veterinarian practice within a pet shop, all the staff I've ever had dealings with here are genuinely lovely and care so much about the animals they see. Always a friendly face on reception and the vets themselves are fantastic with our pets. Obviously this practice is aimed at smaller animals due to its size but I can't recommend them enough. Excellent plans available for small animals to help save money on potential visits. Update - pleased to report they're also brilliant with cats. Adopted our ex-stray house cat during lockdown and he's been very happy with his treatment from the vet so far.”

“I cannot thank Vets4Pets and especially Irina Jakovleva enough for saving my dog’s life. After being told by the PDSA that my only option was to put her to sleep due to a wound and infection, I felt completely heartbroken. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion with Irina, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
