“It was the start of lockdown last year that I decided to get a tropical aquarium. As it was a large tank and cabinet they delivered it for me, the same day. Got advice on set up and water chemistry...took a couple of months to cycle the tank properly, they do the water checks whenever I feel the need. A year on, the aquarium is well settled in with a decent selection of easy to care for fish. Better than watching the telly! Still visit for food, chemicals, and fish as needed.”

“I cannot recommend Danielle enough!! She is absolutely amazing with my miniature dachshund Neo. He gets so excited to see her and go on walks with the rest of the pack. Danielle worked so hard to find smaller dogs for him to play with as he was a little scared of bigger ones at first! But now he loves all dogs. The pack walks are brilliant for socialising your dog and helping them gain confidence. Danielle always sends lots of videos showing how much fun Neo is having and I 100% trust he's in the best hands!”

A team of staff with abundance of knowledge and did not let me buy something that did not fit my dog correctly we tried many halters on the dog but she was too small for any of the ones that we needed to control the pulling. Another place would of let me purchase one and walk away. Not Smiths staff they were amazing highly recommend this pet shop and the staff. 100% honest staff”

“My wife and I found ourselves hungry and tired from walking around the marina area which is a revelation to see it so much changed. (I am 81 tears old and was born in the city of Hull and know a lot about the place). We called in at the hotel to see if we could get a light lunch and were greeted warmly and our dog was welcomed as well. The meal was superb and the pizza was by far the best I had ever been served anywhere. The staff were helpful and the place was warm and clean. We were served by a guy called Adam.
