One of the best pet shops in the area. Even has Alpaca food which isn't readily available elsewhere. Friendly staff as well.
The girls.are great staff.espcially tilly and sarah and abbie so helpful and informative. Unfortunately this place is let down by the manager,whoom I actually witnessed having a child like strop and and being rude and disrespectful to another customer..management needs reviewing as has no customer service skills what so ever.

Is ok, a bit tucked away but they can't help that. They have extensive stock so there's plenty of stock. I couldn't find what I was looking for, but other places have not had them either, so again not really their fault. Over all happy with what they had and how the staff were, so would go back.
We have used smiths since we got our Staffordshire bull terrier at 8weeks ( hes now 6) we buy all his various biscuits and treats as we need them here and the beauty is you simply scoop them loose bag and then are weighed to your needs and its cheaper in the long run and its always good quality feed. They cater for all pets big and small, we also buy our wild bird feed here aswell and staff will always help you out if you need advice about something too its great shop
I have a strong puppy that constantly pulls while trying to walk her I visited Smiths to buy a dog matic halter. A team of staff with abundance of knowledge and did not let me buy something that did not fit my dog correctly we tried many halters on the dog but she was too small for any of the ones that we needed to control the pulling. Another place would of let me purchase one and walk away. Not Smiths staff they were amazing highly recommend this pet shop and the staff. 100% honest staff
Smiths animal supplies is the first time I have been there she's very very well stocked the staff helpful but seem abrupt, I bought worming tablets for the dog for two tablets £5. 49 I thought that was expensive and I've only got a small dog about 11 kilos I also bought some bird food that that was ok but the place itself was very very well stocked at least try once and see how you feel about it
