Buddy spent a long weekend while we were on holiday. He was booked into multiple group sessions and for a groom at the end. When we picked him up he was happy and full of beans. Home from Home accomodated us in storing the car crate, giving us more bootspace for our journey and accepted Buddy's food to keep his diet the same as it is at home. Both greatly appreciated. Unfortuantely after 4 or 5 group play sessions we only have two pictures to see the friends he made and the fun he should(?) have had (attached), only receiving these after constant reminding (no pictures were available on Facebook or privately). I requested the brands used during Buddy's groom (assuming it was this) as he came home with a rash on his tender bits, later moving to the base of his tail. Fortunately our pet insurance offers free video vet services (Home from Home did offer to cover any vet costs etc to their credit). I am still waiting for the product names almost 4 weeks later, in order for us to avoid them (the products) in future. All in all ok which is disapointing as I was expecting much more.
We often use these kennels for our 2 Frenchies and Border Terrier for both daycare and overnight stays. Before their first visit I came to view the kennels. They are clean, spacious warm and comfortable. The staff are always professional and welcoming too. There are also lots of additional services you can book for your pets including grooming, extra walks, 1-1 time etc. When my dogs come for a stay they jump up at the door and push it open themselves, clearly looking forward to it. I love it that I can easily book a stay online via their website. I think that is really helpful rather than having to ring up to book.
I love this place because they really take care of my two dogs. You can take their bed and blankets and their own food too. I wouldn’t take my boys anywhere else.

I absolutely LOVE this kennels, but more importantly, so does my dog. I have a 10 month old Cavapoo and after walking around almost all of them in Hull and surrounding areas this was by far the cleanest, and as an added bonus it had the best range of options and SO MANY staff. My dog doesn’t even look back when I drop him off and he runs to get in the door. Their prices are competitive and I’m often refused last minute bookings because they’re full but I can totally see why! The play sessions are a great addition and I can’t wait to see how they groom him on his next stay. Highly recommend!
We recently had our Golden Retriever, Max, stay at Home From Home while we were getting married. So we took advantage of their wedding package! We are SO happy we did! The team at HFH were amazing in sorting this out for us… Max was brought down to the venue and had been bathed and brushed, and he looked amazing! Sam, one of the workers was more than happy to help us with getting our photos, all whilst taking care of Max between shots. He stayed the night in their Cherry Lodge which we were given camera access to.. such a great touch! When we picked Max up the following day, he was as happy as ever and had clearly been brilliantly looked after during his time with them. We will 100% be using HFH again if he ever needs a place to stay! And we fully recommend their wedding package to anyone getting married who wants their dog chaperoned for photos on your big day!
