“Haven veterinary group took care of my rat pickle until we unfortunately made the decision to put him to sleep. They were always very helpful in getting us last minute appointments and listening to his issues. They were very thorough throughout his treatment. His euthanasia was also handled with remorse and care. It made an incredibly hard day, a tiny bit easier. I also received a thoughtful card from a few weeks later. Incredibly kind of them.”
“Both our Rabbits are currently registered here, and though you might wonder about the quality of a veterinarian practice within a pet shop, all the staff I've ever had dealings with here are genuinely lovely and care so much about the animals they see. Always a friendly face on reception and the vets themselves are fantastic with our pets. Obviously this practice is aimed at smaller animals due to its size but I can't recommend them enough. Excellent plans available for small animals to help save money on potential visits. Update - pleased to report they're also brilliant with cats. Adopted our ex-stray house cat during lockdown and he's been very happy with his treatment from the vet so far.”
“I cannot thank Vets4Pets and especially Irina Jakovleva enough for saving my dog’s life. After being told by the PDSA that my only option was to put her to sleep due to a wound and infection, I felt completely heartbroken. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion with Irina, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Irina reassured us that putting her down wasn’t necessary and helped us with the right treatment plan. Thanks to her care, dedication, and expertise, the wound has now fully closed and my dog is back to her happy, lively self again. I’m beyond grateful to Irina and the whole team – you gave us more precious time together and gave my dog the chance she truly deserved. I would 100% recommend Vets4Pets to anyone who wants vets that genuinely care and go the extra mile for your pets. Photo of how happy meila now is”
“Best pet shop I've ever been to. Spoke with the manager Gemma who helped and got us everything we needed. Will definitely only be using this shop for our pet needs from now on.”
“Always a pleasure, very nice and friendly staff, the Vets are great with our terrior, Stan, and fare, thank you all for the service provided and advice given.”
“Helping the less fortunate members of society look after their pets. Good service.”
“(Note: this review is from John , Jan’s husband, as Jan was bed bound at the time). Our Bearded Collie, Maisie, was taken (terminally as it as found) ill at teatime on a Friday. The receptionist managed to fit her in at 5.30 that evening. Sadly, she had to be pts and the procedure was carried out in a faultless kindly manner. When it was all over I was left on my own with Maisie, and a box of tissues, for as long as I needed. After settling the bill the receptionist asked me to be careful driving home. I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you.”
“The best Pets at Home in the area! Have difficulties keeping Polar away! Super friendly and always there to help. Big thanks to all the staff there, especially Charlie and Sophie dealing with Polars "tantrums". I'm sure Polar will be back soon enough.”
“The pdsa is a charity and should be treated as such The work they do is brilliant and should not be compared to a private vets . It can be extremely busy at times so waiting can be quite long also remember urgent cases get priority please be patient”
“Absolutely amazing response from Andrews HH Hospital. I contacted them as i found a very poorly hog and left a message on the Ansa phone. A charming lady called me back and made arrangements to see my find. I had contacted several other HH rescues and this was the one that called me back. They removed ticks, tested a stool sample and then took the hog off my hands. They were knowledgeable, friendly and massively overworked. I'm donating to their charity right now. AMAZING PEOPLE.”

“My 10 month old dalmation managed to get a deep cut on the pad of her front paw. Within an hour she was with the vet and being sedated for stitches. Here she is all bandaged up and recovering well at home with antibiotics and pain killers. Staff were really friendly and understanding. Even got me some tissues as I'm such a wuss and cried like a baby myself. Would definitely recommend”

“Excellent practice, Millie our vet provided new eyes on a problem our dog has had for a couple of years, and we're on the road to recovery. Millies knowledge was superb she knew before the results came back what was wrong but needed them for confirmation and correct treatment. He's like a new dog. Thank you so much”
“My dog is under the vaccination for life scheme. We have been very happy with this practice from the beginning. My dog is now almost 8 years old. He has some health issues and the vet is very understanding and accommodating. Highly recommend.”
“Very caring, very kind vets, nurses and staff.”
“Made me feel less panicking when l took my pet in. Explained everything, and gave her a good check over before giving her the medication she needed. Good experience around.”
“Friendly independent vet surgery. Have used them for years for all of our pets from exotic animals to small pets and dogs, and they treat every one with care and compassion. I've always got an appointment when I've needed one, they're very accommodating. Always helpful, knowledgeable, with great aftercare and ongoing treatment, plus they get to know your pet, remember their names, and treat them as individuals. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.”
“I was early for my appointment which gave me time to play games and help my dog to settle.. The vet took time to let binny investigate her surroundings.. She explained and reassured me about my dogs lumps and her teeth She took time to answer my questions. She had a good approach towards binny who is not normally so co-operative. Thank you”
“Great practice. Very professional and friendly team. Vets are very caring and knowledgeable. Always sort our dog’s problems quickly. The practice is always spotless. We are glad we have this excellent team close by. Thanks to all at Swanvale Vets.”
“Very good service, very friendly staff”
“Great service as always from Barton Veterinary Centre. Welcomed on reception by lovely staff. Our cat was in for his first year booster and health check and the nurse really looked after him. Gave him a fuss and made him as comfortable as possible when giving him jab. Always happy to bring our pets here.”
“Excellent vet practice, friendly, professional and welcoming. The pet heath club is also a great way to pay for routine treatments and health checks. When we had a concern about our dog we had a telephone consultation which reassured us but then the vet phones back at 10pm just to make sure things were ok - don’t get that at a GP’s!”
