“Have to say this is the best vets I’ve been to! Always scary to register with a new vet, but every appointment has been so wonderful. Nicola is a fantastic vet - we always feel comfortable with her. She’s knowledgeable, kind, empathetic and friendly. She always puts your mind at ease and if there’s an issue, she raises it in a very calm and clear way without judgement. The nurse we saw today, Ruby, was absolutely delightful. She made us feel very calm and informed about an upcoming teeth cleaning, whilst also being extremely kind and sweet. Can’t thank her enough. The staff here really do love animals and it shows. The staff on reception are lovely too and always happy to answer questions. Overall fantastic experiences here, I would recommend to anyone :)”

“Have adopted 3 cats from here, all fantastically looked after. I know of others that have adopted from here also and they sing the praises of this establishment. On each visit to the shelter I’ve seen nothing but love and care for all the animals there. I will 100% adopt from here again!”
“Whilst not ideal we have had to visit The Pet Vet twice in the last three weeks and both experiences have been brilliant. From the warm welcome on arrival, clean waiting area through to the actual care it was as good as a visit to a vet could be. The consultation was on time with vet knowledgeable, informative and engaging. Great care and not ridiculously priced. Highly recommend The Pet Vet should you need care for your pet.”

“What can I say. Brilliant vets, recommend 1000%. Pete and his team are fabulous, friendly, kind and extremely compassionate. Ladies on reception all so friendly and lovely. January one of my cats became ill with his liver, they got him well and he recovered well. Then in April he was attacked by another cat, had huge nasty abcess that was cut out leaving two nasty open wounds, still healing well, on track. “Jaffa's is an amazing vets. Sarah and Pete are fantastic and really go the extra mile. My cat has been suffering for a long time from a chronic condition that has left many other vets scratching their heads, but Sarah and Pete went above and beyond to understand what was happening and set out a treatment plan, which is so far working well. The practice is also amazing, it is set up for cats to help keep them calm. My cat is particularly anxious and he hates going to the vets so this made our visits a lot less stressful - for both of us! And all of the team are lovely, really friendly and caring. I couldn't recommend Jaffa's more for your cat!”

“We have our two dogs registered here and every time we've needed an appointment it's been the same day and the care has been first class from the lovely reception team through to the vets, they are always so welcoming and accommodating and really do make a daunting trip to the vets a much better.”
“We have two young british shorthair cats who we adore. After some poor experiences at other local vets we decided to move them both and try Harrier Vets. Naturally we were nervous about taking them to a new vet. We took both cats at the same time for a vet check and were really pleased with the whole experience. Parking was easy and the receptionist was really helpful. The vet was fantastic (Unfortunately I can’t remember her name) and really approachable. At previous vets we have been made to feel like bad cat owners despite our very pampered cats, and previous vets have not seemed to have confidence around cats; this was not the case here. The vet was knowledgeable and really happy to answer any questions we had. She handled both cats (one who is exceptionally nervous) really well and made us feel very comfortable. We were given really helpful advice and their healthy cat plan was explained to us and seems good value for money. We can’t recommend them enough and are pleased to have finally found a vet that we feel comfortable with.”
“I have used Pet Practice since 2023 and have entrusted them with the care of my beloved Jack Russell when she has been really unwell. The care, reassurance and support that I have needed following surgery has been plain to see.”
“Thanks to Caroline for sorting out my pony's abscess. She has been kind, skillful and patient. The staff have all been friendly and very helpful since we joined the practice. As a follow-up to my review my pony had developed quite a needle phobia after needing a lot of procedures over the winter. Chloe has been absolutely fantastic using positive behaviour techniques to desensitise her. With great patience and good humour she was able to do a dental check and take a blood sample with no drama at all. Cannot thank her enough.”
