I have taken Bailey here for all his 6yrs. From the puppy classes to his 6 monthly checks , annual inoculation's and any treatment he needed . He is a timid whippet and the care and attention given to him is 100%. They keep him calm and do not rush him. I would recommend them.

Worst vets I have experienced. On the surface they seem lovely and knowledgeable- however, multiple negative experiences with three really standing out. I didnβt realise how bad it was, comparatively, until we changed vet. 1. When we got a puppy, they FORGOT to include tick treatment in the flea, tick and wormer we were paying for. They knew we lived on a farm and our poor puppy got absolutely ravaged with ticks in one outing - on her eye lids, her nose, it was horrendous. 2. Terrible botched job of the same puppyβs spay. Cut her from top to bottom, easily 8 inches (compared to 3 inch cut for our older dog at a previous vet). Took her over a week to mostly recover (compared to 2 days for older dog) when I complained they said it was necessary sometimes to ensure no mistakes were made inside and itβs better to have a larger incision than a knicked bladder. New vet says that is poppycock and it is lack of experience, totally unnecessary. They do not operate a fear free practice and my dog is now terrified of the vet. Shakes if we even walk past it. 3. Removed a lump from older dogβs mouth, didnβt take enough tissue (didnβt have anyone experienced enough in house to go deeper) and it grew back. On 3 dental check ups (different vets) I queried my dogβs teeth, one was visibly chipped and wobbly. Told every time her teeth were fine until a 4th appointment where they said yes that one tooth needed to go but would likely fall out on its own. Joined a new vet 1 month ago. They x-rayed her teeth and they are in such a state (despite being brushed, she had gum disease and needed deep cleaning) she had to have 12 teeth removed and the lump removed again. There is no way on those 4 prior appts the teeth were fine. She didnβt need to suffer this much but Pet Practice clearly donβt know what they are doing. If I could go back in time, I would have stood up for what I thought was wrong and protect my poor puppies more. And I would go to Mainstone. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE In reply to your reply: I have raised these complaints, more than once with your practice staff at the romsey branch reception, with two vets and when leaving in June with someone who I think was maybe a practice manager? If you cared, you would have reached out after any of those interactions.

You guys are awesome with the cats! The staff is always so friendly and really cares about our kitties. Plus, the clinic is spotless, which makes it feel safe and comfy for them. We're so grateful for the great care and how much you all care. Seriously, it's a great experience for us and the cats.

My dog Alfie gets very anxious at the vets when its vaccination time - Pet Practice have tried several methods to improve his experience, calming medication, 'happy visits', and letting us just sit in the waiting room whenever we're nearby. Nothing has really diminished his anxiety so now we just get it over and done with as quickly as possible. I am so impressed at Bridget's skill and speed at administering his boosters. Additionally, she was able to swiftly remove a broken claw earlier this year- we were so relieved this was done so efficiently. The admin staff are friendly and helpful and apart from the occasional wait time (sometimes running a bit late) we always come away feeling satisfied with Alfie's treatment.

I have used Pet Practice since 2023 and have entrusted them with the care of my beloved Jack Russell when she has been really unwell. The care, reassurance and support that I have needed following surgery has been plain to see.

Friendly helpful staff. Very professional with a nervous dog. Teddy had to come in for a small dental op on Monday, she was very nervous, but the nurses and staff made it as easy for her as possible! Thank you so much Pets Practice

Took our cat Toby for his boosters this morning. It was easy to park outside the practice. Once inside it was an inviting experience. The vet and nurse were both very friendly and treated Toby well and resolved a minor problem prior to giving him his vaccinations. Toby was still happy after his treatment If he is happy, so am I! In and out without any fuss.

We are on a run of being regulars at the vets at the moment. Pet practice have been wonderful since we joined, we cannot fault them. Our dog has very bad separation anxiety and Rachel has been invaluable at getting us on a plan and helping. We were a little nervous when our dog had to be put under for a minor paw op given her anxiety but the staff took such great care of her and accommodated her needs so our dog was perfectly happy when we collected her. We cannot recommend highly enough, the care and expertise has been consistently high, it is obvious all the staff really care about the animals and there is a real kindness.

I have had many positive experiences with Pet Practice in Romsey and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet. Rachel has treated my young dog Willow since she was a very poorly puppy as well my other dogs and as a practice they are very accommodating in an emergency. Rachel has also treated two of my chickens in the past and I think all the clinical staff's knowledge is second to none. The best vet in the area!vet
