“Irlam Animal Clinic did a fantastic job looking after our lovely dog Ted. We could always get an appt and the staff are lovely esp the young guy on reception and Joanne the Manager who went above and beyond when he sadly passed away with heartfelt finishing touches. The vets are amazing and do a fantastic job! even in the most difficult of times. They gave us an extra year with Ted which we are forever grateful for.”
“Our dog had a mysterious limp which turned out to be elbow dysplasia. We had a few appointments with Steve at MVS referred over from our usual vet. Steve was professional and personable, thorough with his assessment and set out a number of options but without pushing any in particular so we could make the choice we felt was appropriate. We’d definitely go back. Shout out to the friendly staff on reception too, who makes things run smoothly behind the scenes.”
“Superb vets - everyone from the reception team, the nurses and the vets do a brilliant job and I feel like they all genuinely care about my rabbits. Great customer service and always available”
“Animal Trust Failsworth are the best! My SharPei can be quite a handful at the vets as she stresses very easily. So much so that other vets have muzzled her. But not at ATF. They are patient with her and it shows in her behaviour with them . No muzzle no aggression, just calm. Thanks guys”
“The vets were amazing when our beloved old cat Tilly became ill and we had to have him put to sleep. ❤️ They even sent us a card afterwards. We appreciated their consideration and kindness during a very difficult time.”
“Daisie, our fit, never ill 13.5 yr old Bichon Shih Tzu cross, was going off her food and had become very lethargic. She didn't want to jump in or out of the car, which was NOT like her at all. The next day I noticed she wobbled slightly one day after she came down stairs. I thank God I did. I was sure something was wrong, so we took her to our normal vets that day, and they referred us to VetsNow for a CT scan, within 2 hours, which showed a mass on her spleen. As there weren't any others we decided to operate, dispite her age, as she was normal very fit and healthy. Vets Now were wonderful, very kind, understanding, approachable and knowledgeable. NOTHING was to much trouble, all the staff were lovely. We know Daisie was lucky, her operation was curative. Whilst we were at Vets Now we saw just how dedicated they all are to saving your pets life, and how compassionate they are. I would not hesitate to take any of my pets to Vets Now again if their situation was life threatening. Daisie is now well on her way to a full recovery, and we're hoping to have her for a few more years yet. As far as the cost are concerned, yes, it was more expensive and came as a bit of a surprise, but on the flip side they are open 24/7, they are VERY well kitted out and basically just waiting to help your pet.”
“This vets it’s self have been so understanding with me with my dog and trying to get the best out come and how they can help me in helping my chow chow to get her play self back ❤️”
“There is very suitable working hours 24/7. The Chris was find the reason of our cat sick. We should not give medcine through the stomack, we start making injecktion instead as tablets and liquids irritate and make werse pancreatis. Now the our cat, i hope that, is healing slowly.”
“Great place just at the start of an estate but very easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful. Separate waiting areas for cats and dogs which is a great help. I was seen very quickly and the vet was wonderful. It was a little busy as it was the morning but no very long waits. Fantastic service from a very worthwhile charity. You so get asked if you would like to make a donation. Which I did as I have insurance and the donation goes a very long way. Only problem was a very very unhappy and disgruntled cat!!”

“Lovely vets,I take my three all the time,I'm on the pet plan.would highly recommend”
“Our pug was urgently treated at Woodcroft for an ulcer on his cornea. The care from the staff was fantastic from the reception team, the nurses and the brilliant surgeon Alistair. Hopefully we are at the end of the treatment but I cannot recommend highly enough, every one at the hospital, pets are truly part of the family and watching what our Reggie has gone through is distressing, without Woodcroft it could have been so much worse. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts xx”
“I'm reviewing for a 2nd time. We took blanche into animal trust because our previous vet found a growth on her ovary that required urgent surgery. The original vet quoted an outrageous sum for the surgery whereas animal trust were much more affordable. During the surgrey they've found an enormous tumour which the first vet missed. The options were thoughtfully and honestly talked through with me by the wonderful vet Brandon. We decided to attempt removal there and then, clear in the knowledge that had her cancer spread they wouldn't be able to help her. After a nail biting hour wait, I received the call I was hoping for - Blanches tumour has been removed and they've saved her life. The after care and follow up calls have been absolutely outstanding and we've felt so reassured by the care given to Blanche by this vet. This will now be her forever vet and we look forward to continuing to use their services. I really can't thank Kirsty, Brandon and the rest of the team enough! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving Blanche's life we'll be forever greatful to you all ♥️”

“We had to take our cat for an emergency appointment and this place was suggested on our vet's website, since this place was open after hours, Sundays and Bank Holidays. We rang up and got told to come here as soon as we could, no appointment needed. The facilities were good. A really great idea in dividing the waiting areas for dogs and cats, so less disruption. The cat waiting area even offered blankets to cover baskets if we had a nervous cat, lovely touch. Unfortunately we had to have our cat put to sleep, but the vet that we had informed us of our options, respectful to us and our cat, and the process. He really helped us through it all and what to do next. The reception staff were all friendly, attentive and helpful.”
“We are a recent new client to Burford Lane Vets, but know head vet Rachel from a previous practice. Can't praise Rachel and her team highly enough. An independent practice so, costs are very reasonable as opposed to costs imposed by other grouped practices. Common sense advice given too which is very refreshing. Would definitely recommend.”
“I had a fantastic experience with the team at Northwest Referrals while searching for an affordable MRI. They were absolutely incredible, going above and beyond to help. Not only did they provide affordable Scans, but they also sent regular updates on Loki's progress through an app during his time there, which really put my mind at ease. I can't recommend them enough for their professionalism, care, and exceptional service!”

“Wonderful veterinary surgery with staff who you can see have a genuine passion for animals and their roles. Aside from that they are attentive, professional and punctual. We felt very safe and assured in the knowledge and skills of Paul and his follow up emails were greatly appreciated, because they are so helpful for understanding and for after care. “Alfie, our 12 year old cockerpoo, had both cruciates repaired by Charlie at Oakwood Vets in 2024. The care he received was second to none and he’s back to being a happy little boy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Charlie and the team at Oakwood vet referals.”
“I am always impressed with the quality of all aspects of this veterinary practice; the vet nurses on reception are helpful, informed and responsive; bookings are timely and consultations always useful. One of our dogs recently had an operation; the pre- and post op protocols were effective and the operation itself a great success. My thanks to Jamie for developing a really good dependable service”
