To, Oakwood Veterinary Referrals/Charlie Sale I am writing this message as a thank you too all of the team and especially Charlie Sale. Whilst we have some very sad news of losing our little family member Harley Cartlidge on 11/03/24. i just want to thank you Charlie for the non stop effort and commitment you have given from start to finish to help us make our little man better. We believed in every decision you made, you did all you could and helped our little soldier have as much quality of life as he could right from our first visit until the very end you never gave up. We understand how much of a poorly dog he was and that nothing else could be done so as we are left broken losing our little Harley, such a small dog with the biggest personality, he will be sorely missed by all of us, such a huge part of our house has now gone but we know that now he's been put to rest and is no longer suffering. He will never be forgotten. ❤️ Thank you so much for giving him more life and never giving up right until the end! We will never forget all you did for us... I was very please with the service. I got a referral from my vet and a call later that same day. The specialist I saw answer all my questions thoroughly while standing outside in a drizzly car park. I was not rushed and he made sure I understood all the options and treatments. They provided a very quick and professional service during a pandemic. They were quicker to get in contact and sort my pets health than the NHS was in contacting me regarding mine. I highly recommend their services.
We have used Oakwood a few times over the years and will need to again and again. After visiting lots of other vets it was only Oakwood who found out what was wrong with Paige. I can not express how amazing they are. so professional, knowledgeable and caring. I can honestly say we are so lucky to have such an amazing service and facility within our area. Where to start? Exactly a week ago I was fearful for my beloved dogs survival. A miniature dachshund had quite quickly lost the use of front and hind leg on one side. The staff were fantastic in bringing forward our appointment to see Charlie on Wednesday night to make a plan for the next day. Dropping Wilbur in was one of the hardest things in recent memory. An anaesthetic, MRI and then cervical disc removal all followed in rapid sequence. 5 hard days of separation followed but the nursing updates were reliable and fantastic updates. It was clear they were the best surrogates he could have. It's still early days but Wilbur is progressing really well and we are just do thankful to Charlie and his amazing team!! They are just as amazing as SuoerVet- just without the TV cameras! Thank you all R, A and Wilbur.
Yet again this wonderful practice has helped give our lively lad a new lease of life. Definitely recommend their services.
