“Wonderful veterinary surgery with staff who you can see have a genuine passion for animals and their roles. Aside from that they are attentive, professional and punctual. We felt very safe and assured in the knowledge and skills of Paul and his follow up emails were greatly appreciated, because they are so helpful for understanding and for after care. Thank you for all of your kind help!”
“The most caring Practice, fantastic with my little dog I couldn't ask for more. I have seen everyone there and they are all wonderful, every one of them.”
“Very experienced, lady so gentle with our baby, just following her advice now & waiting on the pups”
“Great service every single time from this vets. Bella (cat) always gets seen bang on her appointment time which is great. Friendly staff and just fantastic service.”
“The staff here are amazing, lovely little practice, still fairly new so not too busy. This practice is linked with Ashleigh Vets in Chorlton which is larger, and has a great reputation, they have vets that specialise in exotic animals so they really know their stuff. 100% recommend”
“Tameside Vets Droylsden are amazing. We are always given a warm welcome when we arrive. We have 3 furbabies (Cats) and each appointment for health checks and annual vaccination’s go smoothly due to the lovely attention the vet gives to each of them, making the cats as well as myself feel at ease. Thank you.”
“Been taking my very nervous cat here for three years. The staff are lovely with her. Everything runs efficiently and is reasonably priced.”
“I feel confident taking Amber to the the vet. They are always kind ,and listen to my concerns. Most importantly Amber is never distressed by the visit. They are very caring .thank you”
“Excellent Care ✔️ Very clean Waiting Room ✔️ Friendly and Professional Reception Staff ✔️ Friendly, Caring and Professional Veterinarian Staff and Vet Nurses ✔️ Rudi-Blu & Chase ❤️”
“Nothing but good things to say! Staff were very friendly and welcoming at reception and I've never seen my cat so calm with a Vet before. He has quite an extensive medical history so to see him comfortable with a Vet is massive for him!”
“Really pleased with the treatment my cat Ares received yesterday. He needed his booster and flea/worming and the vet we saw (I didn't catch her name unfortunately) was extremely kind and gentle with him. She was patient with me too and checked him over when I mentioned a couple of other things I was concerned with. Cost of treatment seems reasonable to previous vets we've visited. The lady on reception was really friendly too. Parking round the rear of the building. Lastly, they have a candle in the reception which is lit if an owner is having having an appointment to have their pet put to sleep, and request soft voices and respect if this is the case. I've never seen this before in vets and thought it was a lovely idea.”
“My cats have been treated at Briar Dawn for 17 years. I was particularly impressed with the care that Posi received on a recent visit. The vet was professional, thorough, patient and kind. She suggested various levels of treatment and showed me how to administer the chosen ear drops. Posi is now getting back to being herself thankfully.”
“Fantastic vets! All the staff and vets are lovely. Whenever we need anything they always go out of their way to make sure we can been seen as soon as possible. It makes a stressful expereience for our cat much easier! Thank you!”
“Freddie our SharPei x Staffie is a very strong boy and can be a bit of a handful as he is not keen on getting his nails trimmed. He will struggle to get his muzzle off (not to bite but doesn't like to be restricted). Debbie was very calm and patient with him throughout the appointment. Also gave us some useful tips on nail maintenance. Very reasonable cost.”
“Took my old cat Jess there they were fantastic sad time but they made it special rip Jess and thank you for trying ❤️❤️❤️”
“My tortoise had a long beak so making it difficult to eat by himself. I had to feed him by hand, I took him to this vet. The people are very friendly, the lady vet clipped his beak and I am happy to say he is eating really well. One happy tortoise and one happy owner. Thank you so much, this vet is highly recommended by me.”
“Daisie, our fit, never ill 13.5 yr old Bichon Shih Tzu cross, was going off her food and had become very lethargic. She didn't want to jump in or out of the car, which was NOT like her at all. The next day I noticed she wobbled slightly one day after she came down stairs. I thank God I did. I was sure something was wrong, so we took her to our normal vets that day, and they referred us to VetsNow for a CT scan, within 2 hours, which showed a mass on her spleen. As there weren't any others we decided to operate, dispite her age, as she was normal very fit and healthy. Vets Now were wonderful, very kind, understanding, approachable and knowledgeable. NOTHING was to much trouble, all the staff were lovely. We know Daisie was lucky, her operation was curative. Whilst we were at Vets Now we saw just how dedicated they all are to saving your pets life, and how compassionate they are. I would not hesitate to take any of my pets to Vets Now again if their situation was life threatening. Daisie is now well on her way to a full recovery, and we're hoping to have her for a few more years yet. As far as the cost are concerned, yes, it was more expensive and came as a bit of a surprise, but on the flip side they are open 24/7, they are VERY well kitted out and basically just waiting to help your pet.”
“Very friendly and attentive veterinary clinic from the reception to the vet nurses and vet surgeons. Always offer the best possible treatment for the pet. My cat is with this clinic for nearly a year now. Pet plan is a very good way to save money and look after your pet regularly. Highly recommended. Easy and straightforward to get the appointment. I always got the best possible advice either over the phone or in the clinic.”
“A massive thankyou to Mr Simon Tollet and the fantastic team at Acorn Veterinary Surgery for supporting the safeguarding campaign with us here at Learn About : the parents and children within the local schools and community especially St Wilfrid's C of E Aided Primary School. Acorn Veterinary Surgery are a reliable, friendly, and fairly priced vet practice that many pet owners trust for everyday care. We can highly recommend.”
“Thank you for taking such good care of our beautiful dogs for over a decade, we're very lucky to have you!”
“The vets were amazing when our beloved old cat Tilly became ill and we had to have him put to sleep. ❤️ They even sent us a card afterwards. We appreciated their consideration and kindness during a very difficult time.”
“Very reasonable prices, easy to order following approval and fast delivery. Thank you”
“Great place just at the start of an estate but very easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful. Separate waiting areas for cats and dogs which is a great help. I was seen very quickly and the vet was wonderful. It was a little busy as it was the morning but no very long waits. Fantastic service from a very worthwhile charity. You so get asked if you would like to make a donation. Which I did as I have insurance and the donation goes a very long way. Only problem was a very very unhappy and disgruntled cat!!”

“I was recommended Ashleigh Vets in Chorlton for my rabbit . It was a 50 mile trip but well worth it. The clinic was busy and lively but not stressful for animal. I had a list of bunny health concerns and was reassured with practical help and advice. Ben wasn't used to such attention and was a little nervous but he is now a very happy bunny.”
“Staff are very polite, helpful and friendly. Very efficient and care for the animals. Always clean, nice waiting rooms and clinics are spotless. Would highly recommend to anyone.”
“Turned up at 8pm with my cat without giving any notice. Despite the unplanned arrival the receptionist was lovely and caring and arranged the vet to see us within 10 minutes. The vet was very reassuring and thorough with her advice. Excellent service and nice to know they are there in an emergency!”
“Lovely vets,I take my three all the time,I'm on the pet plan.would highly recommend”
“Amazing Vets, we had an emergency with my springer spaniel dog and after two other vet practices wouldn't even fit us in to be seen Medivets seen us immediately, they were very empathic, caring and even though it was a sad time for my boy to run over the rainbow bridge everything was done with so much dignity and care. Couldn't have asked for any better service.”
“Both my cat & dog are registered here and I couldn't be happier. Caring and knowledgeable team, lovely atmosphere and very reasonable prices.”
