“Professional & friendly service. Close examination of my poorly cat with advice for current & future treatment. He's now very much on the mend. Booking an appointment over the phone was straightforward, and they were understanding when I had to cancel and rebook at short notice. Reasonable price for treatment & medication too. Recommended.”
“Super friendly and helpful. We found an injured bird and they were more than happy to take it in to try and save it. It shows what a caring veterinary practice they are! Thank you so much!”
“Absolutely fantastic veterinary practice. They go above and beyond for our pets, we get an excellent service, the staff are exceptionally kind and caring, treatments are always really well priced. I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough.”
“Has been my vets of choice since they opened, always a good result first with my 14 year old German Shepherd Anna and now with Luna my Akita innu, highly recommended a great gathering of people dedicated to there chosen profession.”
“Cannot thank the PDSA enough for looking after my cat when he suffered a life threatening injury. Every single staff member is kind and compassionate and you can tell they care deeply about every pet they encounter. I knew my sweet cat was in good hands. They are easy to contact in an emergency and don't hesitate at all to get your pet the help they need. Thank you from the bottom of my heart PDSA.”
“Lovely staff. Very clean and airy there. Separate area for cats, away from the dog area, so the cats feel safe. The dog area isn't visible from the cat area. We saw the vet Mr Anders, he was lovely and very caring to my daughters cat and my daughter. Likes to look after the pets parents as well as the pet. I highly recommended him.”
“Great service .my dog had 2 teeth out and was looked after so well .she,s not been put off going back and pulls to the door to go back in to the vets !”
“Very good vets who helped to reassure me when my Harry wasn't well. There is no seperate rooms/ spaces for cats to be separated from dogs so please ensure to try keep interactions to a minimum if possible”
“Our Willington surgery had no appointments and offered us Derby walk-in (hard parking, long waits), or the consulting pharmacist at Hatton (a first for us). The pharmacist was very helpful, conducting medical tests including stethoscope, BP, NOX, with all our medical details available on her computer linked to Willington. She was very helpful and friendly, exceedingly knowlegeable, answered our questions, gave clear advice and appropriate needed medications. We could also park a few yards from the shop.Cannot speak too highly of our whole experience.”
“We have used Abbey Vets to care for several cats for over 30 years. They have always provided a professional, caring and friendly service and have been there when we needed them. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else, even though there are other vets closer to us.”
“We had to wait a bit, because vet was performing emergency procedure on someone else's little friend, but it's understandable. All staff was attentive, calm and friendly. Vet was kind, knowledgeable and our scaredy cat was comfortable around her. Clinic is tidy. Location easy to find”
“Great practise and iv used them for years! The ladies on reception are so lovely and always try their best to get me an appointment time thats suitable! Denisa is lovely, so friendly and approachable yet professional and thorough! Always have a good experience when i go, and wouldn’t go anywhere else now!”
“Was using the Music Magpie Smartdrop kiosk. JD, the security guard, had a decent chat with me whilst I was farting about trying to get it to work. Didn’t go beyond the entrance but store looked clean and tidy on first impressions.”
“Went today as my dog required a Rabies Vaccination to move abroad. Very impressed with the practice, nice reception staff who were very helpful, & happy to email me the record of treatment for the Animal Health Certificate (issued by another provider). The vet was very thorough, took her time & interacted well with myself & Meg the Cockerpoo. Pricing was very competitive too. Would certainly recommend. Thanks.”

“A great practice. After several issues with our dog, the staff at white cross have not only nursed him back to health, but have also been very patient with him. A young and boisterous Berner is not the easiest patient. You’ve all been so friendly, that despite so many unpleasant appointments in a very short period of time, Atlas is still more than happy to go to the vets.”
“Very welcoming and an excellent vet . I told them the parlous state of my finances , and they landed within my parameters . I am definitely going again .”
“I came here with my bunny for the first time after moving from a vets in stapenhill that I was NOT impressed with but they were so lovely here and I can tell the staff here really do care for the animals and not just the money. It was also really easy to book the appointment and the person on the desk was so helpful with me setting up the monthly plan .”
“We contacted Bev about a puppy she had for sale after seeing her advert online and reading the reviews on here. We got a beautiful little black boy, he has obviously been well loved and is just a bundle of joy. We saw his mother and half sister aswell as a couple of other dogs and puppies, they were all in brilliant condition and super friendly. I have a disabled child and a dog nervous child, when visiting Bev took this into consideration and was brilliant with the children. When talking about the dogs she comes alive, you can hear and see the passion she has for everything she does when she speaks. We were sent away with vets records and KC registration alongside his genealogy certificate, some food and a lovely bit of fleece for comfort bedding. Also importantly she had some fab ideas and help for intiating training to settle in to his new home with the type of children I have. We put them straight into place and (touch wood) no accidents or mishaps yet and my older boy is far less nervous already. She also makes it very clear that should you require any future help contact her straight away and she will help you. I read some quite cruel things people had put, but like everything I wanted to trust my own judgement and I am glad I did. Bev is lovely and sincere, having spoken and met more than once I can happily attest that she is a lovely person and in my experience nothing like she has been portrayed by some. So if that is putting you off I urge you to do the same and trust your own judgement. Picture of Khufu Seti just because he is B E A Utiful and cheeky to boot.”
“We've checked our dogs in here several times. This time three rather than two and they were very accommodating. Our dogs are always happy to go in and we feel they are well looked after during their stay. Updates are available if requested if you are more nervous but you have no need to be. The grounds are beautiful and there is plenty of space for them to get some exercise. Would recommend to anyone.”
“Great staff that have been able to take my reactive large breed and have settled her in and managed her amazingly well in a safe environment. Also looks very smart and well equipped.”
“Didn't have the trousers I needed for school but then that seems to be all stores and the ones I bought were for girls on a boys hanger.. yeah didn't fit! But normally great!”
