   I've been using abbey vets for years. This has been our choice of vets for our pets for years. I lost my dog jeannie unfortunately in March and they were really compassionate and empathetic during the whole process. I have since got another new bundle of love called molly. She now goes to abbey vets. She was spayed there last Friday and all of the veterinary team are fantastic with my dog

   Very friendly staff, especially the receptionist who was particularly helpful too. The veterinary was also excellent, keeping my dog calm throughout his booster and check up. Have been using Abbey for over 40 years and never had any problems. Thankyou Abbey.

   We've been using Abbey now for a number of years with cats and dogs we have had over this time. The team (we generally use the Chellaston Practice) are kind, compassionate and professional. The Gold Plan we took out for our dog is excellent and I visited recently under this plan with my lurcher (Jackson) for his annual checkup and jab etc. The service I received by Dr Matteo Malinverno was 1st class. Thank you folks for your continued care and support. Brilliant vets. 10/10.

   Over the past few years we have used Abbey vets for all 3 of our dogs.During the last year our eldest boy Rags had a mast cell tumour removed it was found to be a very aggressive cancer and we didn’t expect him to live another few months but with the help of Nick Burrell he had almost another 12 months of a good quality of life for which we will be forever grateful. On his last day we took him took him to chaddesden as he hadn’t been well for a few weeks on that morning we saw Matteo his kindness and professionalism as we said our last goodbyes was something we will never forget.Thank you to all concerned for everything.The sympathy card we received today was a lovely gesture.

   We have been to Abbey Vetinary Group in Chellaston since 2003. They have provided all services, great and small, for our cat and dog over the years. Everyone from receptionists, nurses and vets are always very caring, empathetic and compassionate. Most recently, vet Nick removed a cyst from our mature dog's eye. The stitches were very neat, and our dog has made a full recovery with no complications. If you have to claim on pet insurance, they help with that process too. I highly recommend them and would not take my pets anywhere else. Thanks to vets Catherine, Nick, Rachel and the team, well done :-)
