   I was recommended Ashleigh Vets in Chorlton for my rabbit . It was a 50 mile trip but well worth it. The clinic was busy and lively but not stressful for animal. I had a list of bunny health concerns and was reassured with practical help and advice. Ben wasn't used to such attention and was a little nervous but he is now a very happy bunny.

   We were trying to find a vets for our four guinea pigs. We have had nothing but the best of care from this practice. One of our babies had signs of ovarian cyst we took her in with her sister to have an examination. They found she also had a heart murmur so we exhausted all other options with their advice. She has had a flank spaying which was less invasive and now nearly two weeks into her recovery. She is back to her old self with only complaints from her that she still needs her heart meds.    I have a baby budgie with birth defects I rang and they got me in super quick. They were so pleasant on the phone. No problems at all. The place itself was welcoming and staff were friendly and professional. They made me feel at ease. They took real good care of baby Davey and was so gentle with him. I didn’t feel I was taking up too much time with them asking so many questions, and the vet was so lovely. I would recommend to anyone who has pets to go here. They really do love animals and they see exotic pets too. All in all I know if Davey needs to go again they will make him feel at home

   Unfortunately I had to bring my poorly kitten here to be put to sleep after a horrible experience with another vet who had seen him first. The vet herself was amazing and offered so much more advice/options for my kitten than the original vets I had been to did. We sadly came to the decision that the best thing for him was to be pts. She was extremely compassionate, let me have as much time with him as I needed, I felt comfortable and at ease with her during such a sad time and I’m glad I picked Ashleigh vets for this heartbreaking time. Thank you.

   Don’t want to put a bad review but I want to warn others when thinking of coming here and consider going to a different vet but we was treated very poorly being sent away every time and told to just book another appointment, I came for another appointment and made to feel like they just wanted more money from us. They wouldn’t explain anything and said they can’t tell us today we have to come back, and discus it on another day. Just didn’t seem like they cared about the actual animal and cared more about the money. They was quick to ask for money but not quick enough to want to solve the animals problem that needed sorting. The lady on reception I believe was called Nicola who has glasses and dark hair was one of the consultants made us feel like we didn’t belong there and was very rude to us about booking another appointment because I came to the desk while they was in mid conversation, made to feel like they didn’t care about my well loved pet. Always wanted to give them a chance and gave them many and every time it was the same experience with us left feeling very upset and annoyed as we was trying our hardest to find a good vet.

   I found this vet only because my current one never informed me that they no longer having an exotic vet.. The whole practice is so friendly, the vet never made me feel that we are in a rush to leave, answered all of the questions and explained the options with patience. I wish I would live closer to change my cat's vets too. Highly recommended

   Ashleigh vets provide great care and have great caring staff. They have Lovely reception staff that offered a warm welcome and speedy checkin who were very helpful when I rang up to make an appointment and when I rang up for an update. The vet and the nurses that treated Eddie were also great providing me with all of the information I needed and reassuring me that he was having the best gold standard care. It was really nice to hear that all of the staff loved him and that he was having extra cuddles.

   I almost never leave reviews, but Ashleigh Vets warrants it. Ever since my first visit they have been exceptional, every phone call and visit has been considerate, caring and professional. Much of my experience was during Covid, which they handled very well under no doubt incredibly stressful conditions. I cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone and everyone that has a pet. Thank you for all your hard work.
