Made the experience both occasions really special and on the gender scan allowed us to use props to make the moment more magical for us to share with others. “I’m not one for leaving a review, but this place deserves this review. I came here yesterday after my 20 week NHS scan, we booked a private scan at 16 weeks at a different clinic and was told we was expecting a boy. At our hospital scan our little Bubba wasn’t playing ball and was having way too much fun in there which was making it difficult to confirm it was a boy. So leaving the hospital, me and my husband decided to book in for another private scan at a different clinic (this one) We arrive for our appointment got called through had the scan and turns out our little boy is now our little girl. Once confirmed she was definitely a little girl we then explained what had happened and I did get upset but all I can say is HELEN thank you so much for yesterday we left your clinic overwhelmed but excited for our future with our little girl. I also want to add how Helen gifted us a pink bear with are Bubba‘s heartbeat in along with multiple pictures of our perfect princess.”

“Since I started classes at Urban Aerial 2 years ago; I am noticeably stronger, fitter, more confident and my mental health has improved massively. Charlie, Beccie and Claire are the most welcoming, friendliest instructors who really believe in everyone and help you progress so quickly. They are always there to help, even at open sessions. The students who attend the classes are also so friendly; it is like a big family where everyone is welcome. The studio is really well presented, thoroughly cleaned after every lesson and spacious. There is always a wide range of different activities to try including pole, hoop, stretch, flying pole, silks and more.”

“I cannot recommend First Sight Southampton enough. We have been in multiple times for scans throughout my pregnancy to check in on baby and every experience has been amazing. The sonographers are always very friendly and helpful, answering any questions we have and we have never felt rushed or like we were just a number in a queue. When we had a scare around mid pregnancy we booked a scan just to see if everything was okay and we had the most pleasant experience. Everything was okay with baby and the sonographer took the time to have a proper look around and she just gave us the time to see all was okay and baby was happy and doing well and growing. We are so thankful to have found First Sight and I would strongly recommend them to everyone else!”

All the staff members I encountered were friendly and attentive and the tests were prompt and stress free. Even the dreaded "puff" test. From the warm welcome on arrival, clean waiting area through to the actual care it was as good as a visit to a vet could be. “TLDR It's great value for money, friendly staff, warm pool, sauna and free classes. For me it's an easy 5 stars, but lets start with the bad stuff. Huge car park, but it's not obvious as it's through the arch behind. Maybe park in Lidl and then walk down on your first visit if you're not sure. The whole place could do with a coat of paint and TLC, if this is important to you it's probably not your gym. The layout is super confusing, the pool is obvious but the sauna is well hidden. The free weights and boxing area is in it's space ground floor, the 'fun machines' and yoga are upstairs down a completely different corridor. Lockers are confusing, you'll need a key from reception, ignore the pound slot in the door. Changing room floors can get wet; Sauna, showers and pool, there's a lot of water. Now the good news: The cleaner seems to live in the place, he's always mopping and emptying bins. The pool does vary in temperature but it's always the warmest I know of. If you want mostly swim time the membership is probably worth it for just that. Yoga, Pilates, swim aerobics, over 50's etc all the classes are free. There are currently 3 yoga classes a week if you can handle it. It just doesn't feel like somewhere for posers, people are there for health and genuine development not to just look good. Maybe you don't want the punch bags or boxing ring, perhaps the very intimidating free weights are't for you, or running machines don't float your boat? Just find the part that is your thing and enjoy. Any questions there will be someone on reception and they are super friendly.”

“Aftersome recent surgery at the Princess Ann hospital I wanted to express my absolute wonder and professionalism of this hospital especially in the day surgery department. I was extremely anxious but I had over worried. Understandable as I was having a serious procedure. But I was reassured, comforted and cared for by a fantastic team of people. From my dedicated nurse to the sister I was in awe of all of them. I watched for about 4 hours as I was prepared for my operation. A team of professionals grafting away for a love of medical care and people. I was kept up to date, respected and understood. I have always supported the NHS through my own experience. In all my 50+ years of being a patient with various health conditions and issues I have always spoke up about my journey with the NHS. I have had one bad experience over many years ago but it was dealt with effectively and I was involved in seeing the positive changes that were needed. We are all human after all. This week I saw humanity at its best. Our NHS is loved by me and all over the world. What makes it work it's run by the world and for that I'm forever grateful.”
