“Did my PB intermediate today with Andrew and it was amazing the course is very useful, allowing you to perfect your boat handling on close quarters with some great instruction and feedback. Then the new part that you don’t cover on PB2 is the planning of the passage applying skills from DS theory and then carrying it out, we went to the Beaulieu River using the transit to pilot in, then along the Solent and across the channel to Newtown Creek, back East to Cowes, the to Hamble Point marina for lunch to do some MOB and fixes in the afternoon. Overall a great to days and well worth it I have gained a huge amount of experience and confidence to carry out a passage by day on my own and will most certainly be coming back to OST for my advanced PB when the time comes.
