“I hadn't been for 30 years and went today for some new court shoes. What a lovely experience. I forget their names but the two gents that served me were very attentive and knowledgeable which is a breath of fresh air. They also encouraged my 3 year old to try some kids rackets by hitting balls into the net to keep him occupied. Will always get my stuff from here from now on. Yes, possibly cheaper online but I had a full fitting experience which you don't get ordering online. Thanks again.”

“Needed a good pair of trainers to start training for my first marathon. I am very heavy on my feet, suffer with arthritis in my hips and lower back, so needed something that offered a lot of support and that would take most of the impact. Had a great service from Jack, left the shop with what I hoped was the correct trainers. Three runs done, and I can honestly say they are spot on. Running is so much easier with the correct foot wear. Thanks Jack. I'll be back.”

“I had my grandson staying with us for the weekend and wanted to get him a bike. I tried Halfords in Newbury but it was too much trouble for them to assemble it. We went to Decathlon in Reading and a guy called Mo looked after us and he couldn't have been more helpful. He made sure my Grandson had the right bike and fitted it with all the accessories for us within about 20 minutes. It was a great experience - highly recommended.”

“Went on to Runwize 6 days ago, the woman in there was fantastic, extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Took her time showing me a variety of shoes, and also informed me of various local running clubs. Completely fair prices and I will be visiting again once my new pair of Brooks' wear out! Possibly could have a slightly greater range of running shoe? That's purely related to contracts with different brands so probably out of their control. However you could say that about a LOT of running shops and it did not halter my experience in the slightest. Pleasant experience in a great location. Fab staff.”

“An amazing store with a range of clothing and tools for all sorts of outdoor activities. When i visited I was looking for a tent and some new walking boots, Richard immediately asked if I needed help or If he could look something up for me. Whilst asking about boots Richard offered to show me some new boot measuring device that they had and the following conversation was fascinating (I had never thought so much about what kind of shoes/ boots I should be wearing) he explained everything I needed to know and allowed me to try on everything I asked about and even brought his own recommendations to the table. My experience there today was fantastic and I certainly plan to return to pick myself up some new boots.”
