“Hello Nikki Thank you for your September update; I enjoy being kept up to date with your range and what is going on. I LOVE the CreativeDezign range; have 5 pairs of the Just Cruizin trousers!!! which are my 'go-to' trousers; SO comfortable, versatile to dress down or up! I also have some pieces of jewellery and a couple of the Arm knitted Snoods. I always receive lovely, very complimentary comments about the trousers and snoods with the inevitable 'where do you buy them' so I know friends have also been purchasing!!! “Amazing customer service from Back in Action. I was given the opportunity to spend a morning working at a desk in the store while trying various chairs. I chose the perfect chair for me, a Sofia mesh , that I am very happy with. Delivery was prompt and support during assembly was available when I had a question.”

“Needed a good pair of trainers to start training for my first marathon. I am very heavy on my feet, suffer with arthritis in my hips and lower back, so needed something that offered a lot of support and that would take most of the impact. Had a great service from Jack, left the shop with what I hoped was the correct trainers. Three runs done, and I can honestly say they are spot on. Running is so much easier with the correct foot wear. Thanks Jack. I'll be back.”

“I had my grandson staying with us for the weekend and wanted to get him a bike. I tried Halfords in Newbury but it was too much trouble for them to assemble it. We went to Decathlon in Reading and a guy called Mo looked after us and he couldn't have been more helpful. He made sure my Grandson had the right bike and fitted it with all the accessories for us within about 20 minutes. It was a great experience - highly recommended.”

“Went to Slaters in Reading to find a suit for my son to go to a wedding. There are so many suits to choose from and ties, shirts, shoes! Everything we could want. We were helped by a lady called Ellen who was fabulous. She didn't crowd us but was very helpful and attentive. She helped fit a suit.. my son was between sizes so Ellen pinned the jacket and waistcoat. Trousers also adjusted for length. I will go back and pick up the altered/tailored suit in a week or so. Alterations are FREE!! Fabulous experience overall. Suits cost around £150, for a tailored suits - that's amazing.”

The staff all appear to have an interest in woodwork (unlike most large chains that just have people there that know very little about what they've selling) and are happy to share their own experience/opinions on what would be best for each individual”

“I visited the Basingstoke store yesterday (2nd August 2019), great selection of clothing for the season. Very friendly staff, great help/advice when needing to find a different size/ style or colour. Loved the size of the fitting room and layout of the store. overall highly recommend and would visit again. I had great help from a Team Member named Emily while I was in the fitting room, highly recommend her for anyone visiting the store and needing help, very friendly and helpful. And Gabi on the till, also very friendly and processed my transaction efficiently.”

I’ve personally used them for over 10 years and my family have used them for even longer. The customer service is great too, great communication and great prices! Highly recommended!”

“An amazing store with a range of clothing and tools for all sorts of outdoor activities. When i visited I was looking for a tent and some new walking boots, Richard immediately asked if I needed help or If he could look something up for me. Whilst asking about boots Richard offered to show me some new boot measuring device that they had and the following conversation was fascinating (I had never thought so much about what kind of shoes/ boots I should be wearing) he explained everything I needed to know and allowed me to try on everything I asked about and even brought his own recommendations to the table. My experience there today was fantastic and I certainly plan to return to pick myself up some new boots.”

“Had an absolutely amazing shopping experience with Boss Reading! I live all the way out in South Africa and I managed to purchase a travel trunk online (the last one available in the UK) from this store. The store manager, Grace Tucker, has been nothing short of brilliant! From managing the transaction to personally delivering it to my forwarding address, constantly checking in with me regarding the details and shipping confirmation. Some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long time! Would be happy to shop here again, whether I'm in the UK or elsewhere!”

She told me about the promotions and helped me sort out my loyalty card, which made the experience even better. The most touching part was when I left my umbrella in the shop, Lydia kindly brought it back to me. That small act of kindness showed how much she truly cares about customers. She absolutely deserves all the stars, thank you for making my shopping trip so special!”

“First class service. It was only headlight bulbs but I wouldn't have had any idea how to change them. Only one had blown but thought it better to change both. The young man did it so quick and was very polite. I didn't have long to wait but there was a queue.”
