   I have been wanting to go there for ages and wow what a shop this is. The staff are fantastic and the range of products are incredible, I shall be going back soon and buying loads of top quality stuff. I wish I had got the guys name I spoke to as he was very knowledgeable and couldn't do enough for me. Thank you.

   First time visiting this store. Immediately regretted it as I just wanted everything in there and can foresee having no money left very quickly! I even asked them to bar me from entering again. Seriously though, a wide selection of tools, from beginners to professionals. I went for their wood turning tools and specifically to look at pen turning tools as I wasn't sure what was needed. They have some really good starter packs which included amazing quality parts, just add a lathe! I had also purchased my mini wood lathe from them online a few weeks earlier as I wanted something a bit more robust. Axminster didn't fail to impress as the quality is spot on. Everything I have purchased so far has been well made and very reasonably priced. Just ordered some more pen kits online and I'm sure that plenty more money will be spent with Axminster Tools.

   A really great team of knowledgeable staff who really believe in good customer service. OK, Axminster isn't the cheapest tool and machinery outlet, but the quality of their own brand tools and the, seemingly, no quibble approach to customer service make this a favourite destination. In terms of their knowledge, each of the staff members is skilled in one or more craft, be it woodturning, cabinet making, or something else, and can act as a good source of advice as well as being a sounding board for your own ideas.

   Came here today with my son who was doing a lathe course. He had 3 hours one to one tuition with a very helpful and thorough teacher and came away happy and keen to get on with his own work. The rest of the staff in the shop were kind and supportive and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service.

   Always great service here and helpful staff. Prices are competitive. The staff all appear to have an interest in woodwork (unlike most large chains that just have people there that know very little about what they've selling) and are happy to share their own experience/opinions on what would be best for each individual
