“Needed a good pair of trainers to start training for my first marathon. I am very heavy on my feet, suffer with arthritis in my hips and lower back, so needed something that offered a lot of support and that would take most of the impact. Had a great service from Jack, left the shop with what I hoped was the correct trainers. Three runs done, and I can honestly say they are spot on. Running is so much easier with the correct foot wear. Thanks Jack. I'll be back.”

I live all the way out in South Africa and I managed to purchase a travel trunk online (the last one available in the UK) from this store. The store manager, Grace Tucker, has been nothing short of brilliant! From managing the transaction to personally delivering it to my forwarding address, constantly checking in with me regarding the details and shipping confirmation. “Never knew this place existed. Fabulous leather shoes, sandals, bags. Quite pricey but good quality. Welcoming staff although computer doesn't seem to know what stock it has/doesn't have! They also specialise in wide fittings eg with Velcro for older people with bunions for example. They also do make up bags, leather insoles again expensive. Well laid out so you only need to go to size to see stock and there are boxes by size section for more stock. They also provide shoe horns and socks to help trying on. So I was impressed and would go again. They do trainers including sketchers, clogs, slippers, sandals, walking boots so we'll woth a visit.”

“Did a gait analysis today to buy some trainers for knee pain when walking and was very impressed. The lady that conducted it was very knowledgeable and kind. First I was given a pair of 'neutral' trainers to wear and asked to roll up my jeans so that the camera could see my ankles. Then I was asked to get on the treadmill, turn it on and increase the speed until I was at a slow jog. After I'd jogged for about 30 seconds I was told to stop it and was then shown the resulting video which showed that my gait was definitely overpronated. I was then asked to choose a show from the stability range and the lady quickly went round the back and got my size. We repeated the exercise and you could see this time that my calves were much better aligned. The whole thing only took 15 minutes and I was incredibly impressed with how smooth and efficient it all was.”
