“Emily is so friendly and increadibly talented. So excited to have picked up my bespoke wedding shoes. Emily took our mad hatter/alice in wonderland theme and my brief thoughts on what I would have liked and created a wonderful pair of shoes with little hints of the theme. They were so much more wonderful and better than I expected. Can’t wait to show them off on my big day and to wear again afterwards! Would highly recommend if you are after something a little (or largely) different, as Emily tailors to your tastes.”

“Went in on Saturday and was greeted by Harry - he was great from the off. Listened to what I was looking for and advised where needed. He was very patient as i must have tried on 5/6 different suits. He really is a great help and asset to Slaters Norwich! Simon has built a great team in Norwich! “I went last last Friday 31st May, to try the Sketchers " slip ons' ,,,it was very busy several people trying on shoes ,but within a minute of being there I was acknowledged and told they would be with ASAP, The lady who helped me couldn't have done more after trying some shoes on,and trying to get my size,, (it seems this brand is flying out of the window! ) ., the ones I wanted had to be ordered, so they took the time and patience ( amongst the ques of people) to do this for me ...nothing was too much trouble, On Monday 3rd June my shoes arrived at my home ,they fit lovely, in light of this I ordered some more in a different style ( sadly taverham did not have any of these ,so had to go to another site , But in light of the brilliant service I received and the extremely comfortable shoes ,,,this is definitely a place I would go back to , these two members of staff made the whole process a pleasure.....thank you.”

“Staff here are wonderful! Tried on a few pairs, came back for a gorgeous little pair of ankle boots. Didn’t feel any pressure to buy, i decided to return later and there was zero judgement or pressure. (I did return! And bought a lovely pair of leather Femini boots which are so comfy!!) Not the cheapest shoes (the femini boots were on the higher side at £125, if that’s indicative), but these are all high quality, in many cases wonderfully quirky, and definitely worth it. They last. I love how every pair has been lovingly sourced, plenty of independents, there’s such a great selection. Alt and boho folks will love it, you’ll never find a boring uncomfortable pair here! I also love that they offer a vegan leather selection too so plenty of choice for everyone.”

He was exceptional – highly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and his warm, friendly manner made the whole shopping trip a real pleasure. “The shoe size required was not available - but instead of the usual response of a shrug of the shoulders and on to the next customer - what a refreshing change. With a brilliant smile and and happy manner declared "Not a problem let me see if I can get it in for you". Result shoes ordered and paid mfor. Text message received on the promised day to say they had arrived - and in plenty of time to allow us time to get into town to collect that same day. Great service which some more prestidgous stores should try to copy. WELL DONE!!”

“I would like to personally thank Peter, Pat and all of the staff at Boss for what was an exceptional service through what was a difficult process for all involved! My partner and I went into store early January and fell inlove with a suit for our upcoming wedding. Upon ordering the suit in the grey, it came to light that the finish on the trousers was not available in that colour. The team at Boss worked tirelessly with their tailors, sending multiple pairs of trousers to them to be altered and us coming to store to try them on (they were incorrect a few times but this was not Boss's fault), ensuring that they were a perfect match to the black pair we had tried on. The process was long and the team could not apologise enough, but their effort, jokes along the way and continued communication meant that I got to pick up a perfectly tailored grey version of the suit, well in time for the wedding in June. Today I was shopping with my wife in Norwich city centre, (we are both now retired and having a few days away in Norfolk) and we both browsed the windows of your new look Shoe Zone store on Saint Stephen's Street. I was very impressed, my wife even more so as we have had a lot of terrible experiences and poor service at various outlets of your company previously and down the years and haven't shopped with you for over 2 years. The displays looked so inviting and my wife quickly fell for a pair of Heavenly Feet brand boots at £59.99. So in we went. The shop was quite busy, but we were both greeted by a friendly guy who couldn't have balanced his load more efficiently and professionally akind with his colleague. His attitude and service were exceptional, there were only two of them running the shop and it was obviously far too demanding for such a feeble number -Will you greedy, clueless Head Offices ever learn here!-Anyway, I was very impressed and asked his name. Thanks to Neill and his colleague, Luke, the company got 2 good sales from my wife totalling £80.00 plus and we will definitely be back. Well done lads, far more important than anything, you're a credit to yourselves and deserve, in our opinion, much better Gerald Cosworthy Melton Mowbray”

“I have a child that for medical reasons has one foot 3 sizes smaller than the other, being born with a club foot. Finding a junior and adult shoe that match is a nightmare due to velcro for juniors and laces for adults. Carol and the team have been amazing, trawling through hundreds of pairs of shoes to find a matching style, ordering two sizes in and discounting the prices so I only pay for one pair, whilst sending the unwanted odd pair off to charity for me. I cannot thank the store and staff enough. Please put something publicly on your on your website to advertise that you offer this service. My daughter is not the only one and us parents are short of help! Outstanding service from Carol in particular and very much appreciated!”

The shop went above and beyond (and even found me on Facebook to get in contact) to get the new seat and hood in for me. “Stunning experience with these guys. Had a brand new hard leather pair of Doc Marten boots, and they put them on the stretcher for a week.
